I'm thirsty." she whispers, I nod. "Okay, go back to your room and bring you water." I assure her.

"Liam, get the dog! He has pancakes in his mouth!" Dani shouts chasing after him, not to mention Lu and Kate were also "playing" along. "Why do you want pancakes that have already been in his mouth?" I question. "Liam! I don't think dogs can eat pancakes! They can probably get sick." Dani dodges the coffee table. All of a sudden there was a thud and the house soon filled with cries.

"Kate, are you okay?" Dani stops chasing the dog and rushes to Kate's side, "Liam, that dog is too hyper." Dani snaps. "It's just one mistake! He just needs to adjust to the house." I say kneeling by Kate. "Well the pancakes don't matter now, I'll just make eggs or something." Dani mutters.

"Daddy, I hurt." Kate whines pointing at her knee that's red. "It's okay princess, it's not going hurt the much." I assure her, "Kiss, please?" she asks. I lift her up and sit her on the sofa and kiss her knee. "All better?" I smile, she nods."Well, now that we have this all figured out, I'm to make breakfast.. again." Dani leaves the living room.

"Daddy, I think we should name his name should be Dallas." Lucas speaks up, "I want Alfie. His nickname will be Fi-Fi." Kate giggles. Dallas...Dallas could fit Golden Retriever. "Why don't we test it out first?" I suggest. They gave me a confused look.

"Alfie!" I call out. "No fair!" Lucas pouts, "We just need to see what he prefers first." I place a hand on his shoulder. "He's not coming.." Kate whines. "Chief!" I call out. "You skipped Dallas!" Lucas stomps his foot. "Dakota!" Kate shouts. Lucas pouts even more and growls. "Dallas! Dallas, Dallas, Dallas!" Lucas shouts angrily, the dog comes running in.

"Daddy! Did you see that! He came when I called him that! His name is Dallas!" Lucas cheers, "No Lulu. It's Alfie- Dakota." Kate hisses furrowing her eyebrows. "Don't be sour patch." Lucas smirks in a mischievous way. "No fair! Daddy that's not fair." Kate complains.

"Why don't you guys watch television whilst mommy and I talk?" I suggest turning on the TV.

I walk in the kitchen and sigh, "What are we going to do?" I chuckle. "What's the matter?" Dani questions turning off the stove, "Is it about the kids?" Dani sits down.

"I remember the day when I proposed to you," I smile softly, "I was so happy when your parent's approved the blessing. I hug them and couldn't wait to set up the romantic mood and propose to you."

"Then you had an even bigger surprise for me. It was just working out perfectly, you being Mrs. Payne, us bringing another Payne in the family, and the new house." I whisper making Dani smile. "What about the day when we found out it was a boy?" Dani adds. "Remember when Louis and Niall couldn't wait to play football with him when he reached the age." I laugh remembering their reactions.

"Daddy, someone's at the door." Lucas notifies. "Is it your uncles?" I ask standing up, he shakes his head. "Well let's go check." I say following him towards the door. I check through the peephole and see a young girl and a lady. I open it and realize it's just a girl scout. "Oh, hi Lucas! Hi Lucas' Daddy!" the girl smiles waving. "Hi... Brandy..." Lucas mutters. "Would you like some cookies Mr. Payne? They're £1.50!" Brandy informs me lifting the boxes of cookies.

"I want cookies! I want cookies!" Kate chants rushing to us. "Hi Katie!" Brandy waves, "Kate." Kate corrects her. "And I don't like-" Lucas puts his hand over mouth and awkwardly laughs. "- she doesn't like peanut butter cookies! She's allergic to peanuts!" Lucas says. "Sure, I'll buy some cookies. What you got?" I ask ignoring Lucas' weirdness. "Mint, Peanut butter, pecan, chocolate,-"

"Mint and chocolate." Lucas interrupts, "Pay up Dad." Lucas tugs on my shirt. "But you don't like chocolate." I state, Lucas shrugs. "I do now, now please pay!" Lucas urges. "Alright, alright." I say slipping out my wallet.

"You want to explain what happened over there?" I question raising an eyebrow, Lucas shakes his head. "No, don't want to." Lucas smiles, I always find it cute and funny that one of his front teeth are missing. "Do you like her?" I ask, Lucas' smiles fades and he stays silent.
