The Payne Family

Chapter 2.

Recap: "Mommy, daddy!"Kate whines, I go into the kitchen and see Lucas looking through fridge.

"Lucas you gotta start being nice to your sister."I say putting Kate in  seat.

"But daddyy.."Lucas groans, I look at him and he hides behind the fridge door.

I grab a mango and slice it, I give half to Lucas, and half to Kate. Lucas takes across from Kate, she was already eating her mango slices. Danielle comes into the dinning room sitting next to Kate, Kate gives a small slice to Danielle.

"Thank you."Danielle says happily taking it and eating it, I look out the window and see the lawn covered in orange and yellow leaves.

"Who wants to help daddy rake the leaves?"I ask, Kate and Lucas' s eyes widen.

"Me, me, me!"they both chant. Danielle chuckles.

"Well make sure you guys put on your hats, okay?" Danielle says, Lucas finishes his Mangos and throws them away.

"Okay, now wash your hands before they get sticky."I say, Lucas pulls out his stool and places it underneath the sink and washes his hands.

Kate and Lucas were playing with the leaves and kicking them around.

"Uncle Zayn, Uncle Louis!"They both squeel running towards the guys with thier children and wives.

"Hey guys, how are you doing?"Louis asks bending down to thier height.

"Good."Lucas says,  Eleanor let's go of her son's hand. Eleanor used to be pregnant but the baby died from miscarriage.

"Daddy.."James whispers rushing to Louis.

"Hi aunt Perrie, Hi aunt Eleanor."Eleanor flinches as they say that, but Perrie just smiles.

"Hi Lucas, Hi Kate!"Anthony, Perrie and Zayn' s (twin) son. Veronica squiggles so she can get out of Zayn' s grip, she runs to Kate and Lucas and hugs them. Anthony and Veronica are 7 in a half years old, and James is 4 years old. On the other hand Harry and Tara have 2 girls named Darcy and Ashley. Niall and Abby have a son named Adrian.

"Where's uncle Niall and Harry?"Kate asks looking up to see Zayn.

"They're at home, but they'll come by."Zayn replies, Kate smiles. I stop raking and set my rake against a tree.

"Hey lads and lass."I say walking up, Lucas plays with his strings on his hat while Veronica tries to get his attention. I softly nudge him and he jerks his head up, I look at Veronica signaling him to pay attention. James stayed by Louis being shy like always.

"Go play, you're a Tomlinson. Tomlinsons are never afraid and are loud."Louis remarks, James shakes his head. Louis mumbles something and stands up. I think he said,"You take on like your mother." maybe.

"Look Lucas, daddy taught me this!"Veronica says, she grabs something from Perrie' s purse and drinks it.

"It's energy juice, take some!"Veronica giggles and starts jumping around, Lucas agrees and takes a sip and plays along.
