Chapter 8 - Summer's House

Perrie's POV

We got there around 10pm. Before, I said that I wanted to take Summer with me to the party but honestly..I just forgot about her. Anyway, I knocked on the door and she opened up. She was wearing sweats and she just looked so pretty and so comfortable.

"Hey! You guys made it!" She said excitedly. She hugged me first and then she hugged Jade. "Hi! I'm Summer. I'm one of Perrie's best friends," Well..that hurt a little bit. "It's very nice to meet you! Come in come in! It's cold!" She said finally letting us in.

"Hey Summer?" I said as I walked over to her couch. "Yeah what's up?" She said getting herself a sandwich. Before I answered Summer, I took a look at Jade and she looked uncomfortable. I then whispered to her, "Hey, just make yourself comfortable here alright? No ones gonna kill you." I laughed a little bit.

She nodded and then I answered her, "Uh, can we get some blankets please? We've both had a rough night and we just want to stay warm."

Summer turned around and said, "Yeah yeah of course. I'll be right back." I took out my phone and saw that messages from Zayn were coming through. Lots.

Zayn: I'm actually happy that I broke up with you. You never did anything with me. You would never go to clubs. You were so boring and all you wanted to do was stay home and sing.

Zayn: You were the most boring girlfriend that I have ever had. Even Hatchi was more relevant than you. God, I don't know why I fell for you. I guess you were just very pretty and I just wanted to get with a pretty girl.

Zayn: I tried my best to make you smile. You never did anything to me. You weren't mean. You never had arguments with me. It was just a calm relationship. I understand that some relationships are pretty rocky by ours was steady. I didn't like that.

Zayn: Yes I did want some drama. You dyed your hair twice and I couldn't dye my hair. You would always get the nice treatment because you were a girl and everyone respected you. I wanted some respect too but everyone's attention was on you.

Zayn: Anyways, goodbye Perrie and hope you have a wonderful life without me. See you NEVER!

I started crying and I didn't know what to do. Was I a bad girlfriend? No. At least, I didn't think I was bad. Sure I was tired a lot, because I stayed up doing homework. Sure I love to sing, because that's my passion. Sure I had attention drawn to me, but I didn't ask for it..did I?

"Hey, you alright?" Jade said putting her hand on my thigh.

Jade's POV

"Hey, you alright?" I asked her. I kept looking at her but I couldn't stop. Until she started crying and so I thought it was my time to make my move. "No Jade..Zayn..my ex, he just sent me all of this messages and saying how I was a bad girlfriend and all.." After that, she started to cry into her knees.

"No no no Pez, you're not a bad girlfriend." She looked up at me and said, "How do you know that?" I thought about it and said.."You don't seem like the type that would hurt anyone. You seem to sweet to do anything horrible." I told her. Honestly, she looked so sweet. Her makeup was running and I couldn't help but wipe it away.

"Thanks Jade. It's just really taking a huge toll on me and there's a lot of weight on my shoulders. I just don't kno--"
"I know and I understand. Just keep talking to me and Summer and you'll be fine. You'll be happy with us, right?" She looked away from me and stayed quiet for a second. Then she said, "Yeah. Yeah I am happy. Sorry, it's just that..I love him so much. What did I do wrong?"

"Honey," I said firstly, "I don't think you did anything wrong. It's his fault for letting the girl talk to him. He should've told her that he has a girlfriend. A beautiful, wondering, loving and fun girlfriend." I said quietly.
She started to laugh and then Summer came down. "Woah woah woah. What happened here? You okay Pez?" She said as she rubbed her back.

"Yeah. Jade was just cheering me up." She said while she was smiling at me.

It was the best feeling ever.
