Perrie's POV
We were driving down some roads and took a look at some places to stop and eat. "Where do you want to go eat?" I asked her. She seemed very concentrated on something else though. "Jade?" I said trying to make eye contact with her. "What's wrong? You seem...upset."
"Maybe I am. Why do you care?" She stated. I'm really starting to wonder what happened last night. Or this morning. Was she mad at me? Was she having a rough morning? "I care because.." Should I say it? Eh, I'm gonna say it. "Because I love you." There I said the words.
She turned to look and me instantly. I was still driving so I couldn't really look at her, so then I decided that I should pull into a parking spot and just sit there. "You what?" She said to me. She looked shocked but she also had a mini smile on her face.
"I said," I grabbed her hands and continued saying, "I love you Jade. I really do and seeing you upset just doesn't feel right." I said to her. I was being perfectly honest. I didn't know what to say but that. It was anything to make her feel better.
"Perrie, can I say something too?" She asked me. Oh man, was she going to say something too? "I love you too Perrie. I know this isn't really that obvious because I told you that I liked you last night, but I know that I love you now."
"Wow, thanks for saying that Jade. I really appreciate it." Wow, thinking that a breakup and I had just a few days ago..a new one could start right now with this beautiful girl who always makes me feel happy when I'm around her.
"Anyways, wanna go get food and talk some more?" She asked me. I didn't answer but my stomach answered for me. My stomach growled again and we both laughed. "I guess my stomach says yes." We drove around a little bit more and we finally agreed on a place.
IHOP.
We were really feeling the pancakes and hash browns and eggs and things like that. We really didn't know any other place that sold breakfast like that. We walked in and I talked first. "How many?" The woman at the front desk ask me. "2 people please." I said. She walked us over to a table and sat us down.
We took a look the menu and saw pancakes everywhere. "Oooh, that one looks good." She said. "Which one?" I asked her. "Uh, the one with the strawberries. The strawberry pancake actually." She said with a giggle. "Aw, your giggle is so cute." She looked up at me and smiled.
Wow, I really felt comfortable around her now. She really was everything.
Jade's POV
Wow, she just told me that my giggle was cute. Was it really? She's been very nice to me lately. Does she know something? Anyways, I should probably ask her what she's getting. "Hey Pez, what are you getting?" I said while still looking at my menu.
"Probably the blueberry pancake. I've never really had it before, so I would like to try something new." She smiled. "That's good. I basically get the same thing sometimes. I'm not really the type to try something new." I said.
"What!" She said putting her menu down. "Oh god, that gives me an idea." She said. "What is it? It's not anything bad, is it?" She thought about something and finally said, "You're not afraid of heights..are you?"
"Uh...what?" I said blinking my eyes. "Yeah I'm terrified of heights." I said quietly. "Oh.." She said. "Oh you're gonna have so much fun!!" She said so excitedly.
