Chapter 15 - Oh Hell No.

Jade's POV

It was after breakfast and and she was driving again. Of course, she didn't tell me what we were doing. "Perrieeeee?" I said dragging out the E. "Hm?" She said while trying to focus on the road. "What ARE we doing exactly?"

She just laughed and said, "Jade, are you tired?" Why did she just ask me that? "Uh, yeah. I guess. But what are we doing?" "Come on Jade, I'm not gonna tell you."

"You're not gonna kill me, are you?" She stopped at a stoplight and said, "Seriously? Why would I kill you Jade? I like you and I wouldn't hurt you." I looked at her very seriously.

"Jade. I'm seriously. You'll have fun, I swear!" I nodded my head. "Mhm. I'm guessing it has something to do with heights.." I said quietly. "Noooooo, why would you think that?" She said dragging out the O. "So, it does has something to do with heights!" I said pointing a finger in her face.

"Okay fine, yes it does," She said finally giving in. "But I swear Jade, you'll have fun. I've done this multiple times with other friends and they're fine." She said trying to make me feel better. "I hope it's okay," She said. It sounded like she was going to tell me what we were doing.

"Well, we're...never mind, I'm not gonna tell you. You'll just have to wait and see for yourself." She said quietly laughing. What could it be? So it has something to do with heights. No, I'm not going to think about it. It's gonna make me even more nervous.

I slowly started to fall asleep in the car. Eventually, I did.

Perrie's POV

"Hey, you're gonna be fine. Just trust me on this okay?" I said to her. I didn't get a response back. "Jade?" I stopped at a stoplight and looked over at her. "Oh, she's sleeping." I said. I checked my phone to see what time it was.

"8:47? Really?" I think when Jade and I woke up, it was close to about 7am. It wasn't past 7am but it was near it. I thought about something. Should I call my friend to see if she's there?

Yeah, one thing. I brought my friend with me! Well, not with me but she should be there by now. Should I call her? But what if I wake up Jade? Eh, she'll be fine. *ring ring* *ring ring*

"Perrie!" Said a voice through the Bluetooth call.
"Jesy!" I yelled back. "Hey, are you there?" I asked her.
"Yeah yeah I'm here. I'm just here with Leigh." Leigh-Anne is her full name but we just call her Leigh. I met her when I was in 2nd grade. She took my crayon and I grabbed hers and we both laughed. I remember that clearly.

I met Jesy my sophomore year of high school. She was a class president and would always talk to us about projects and stuff for choir. Yeah, I was in a choir. Actually, all three of us were. She would always sing to us in front of the class with the teacher.

I introduced Leigh to Jesy my Junior year of high school. I thought that it was finally time for them to meet. We actually got along pretty well. We always hung out with each other a--

"Hello? Perrie? Are you there?" I heard the voice say. "Yeah yeah, I'm here. Sorry, I was just thinking about something. What did you say?" It was quiet. "I didn't say anything. So, are you alone or did you bring someone?"

"Yeah I am. I actually have a new friend with me and I hope she likes what we're doing." I said smiling. "Well, has she ever done anything like this before?" Jesy asked me. I thought about it and said, "I don't think so."

1 HOUR LATER

Jade's POV

I felt someone shaking me as I slowly opened up my eyes. I looked around and realized that I was in a car with Perrie. "Perrie?" I said while slowly rubbing my eyes. "Yeah. Uh, we're here!" She said whispering but very excitedly.

"What are we doing? Can you tell me now?" I said looking at her now. "Just get out of the car and see for yourself." She said she got out. I saw her go up to a two other girls which I'm guessing...are her friends?

I got out and the girl with the long dark hair said, "Well, look who's up! Hi, it's nice to meet you! I'm Jesy." She said putting her hand asking me to shake it. "Hi, I'm Jade. Nice to meet you too.." I said slowly. "And I'm Leigh-Anne." She also said putting out her hand.

I looked around and I looked down. There's a river..and trees..and more trees. "Perrie, what the hell are we doing?" I said my voice shaking from how high we were from the ground. She looked at me and took a deep breath. She also took a look at her friends which nodded at her.

She walked over to me and said, "Jade. Don't be afraid but.." She said looking over at her friends one more time. "But..um..we're gonna bungee jump." She said, her face so sternly.
