Chapter 23 - It's You?

Perrie's POV

I woke up and checked my phone. It was already 8:07am and I had to be at the park by 9. I didn't feel like getting up though. Instead, I just laid there going through my phone. Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, you know. The usual stuff.

Then my stomach growled. Yeah, I was kinda hungry. Considering the fact that I didn't eat dinner. I kept thinking about who I might find there. But anyways, should I get up? I'm too lazy to get up though. Ugh, why can't we just have like a remote control that'll bring stuff to us.

That'll be easier but then bad at the same time. Because like if we don't move, then we get super lazy then we don't want to do anything and then we-- "Are you awake?" Came a voice outside of my door. "Come in." I said back. "You interrupted my thinking session." I said to her. "You have a thinking session?" She said as she took a seat on my chair at my desk.

"Yeah. My head hurts now." I said to her. "Too much thinking I guess. I should probably eat to clear it away." I said as I slowly got up. "Do you want something?" I said walking downstairs. "Yeah I do. Can I have a bowl of cereal please?" She said following behind me. "Sure. I'll have one too, I guess."

I walked into the kitchen, surprised that nothing was there waiting for me. "What kind do you want?" I shouted. "Any kind will do!" She shouted back. I got the milk and poured the cereal in. I yawned as I did that and I accidentally dropped some cereal onto the floor. "Damn it, really? Really?" I said to myself.

"Come on Perrie, get it together." I said to myself again as I cleaned it up. Then I carried the bowl to where Jade was sitting and I sat down too. I tried to stay awake by I was too tired. "You okay?" She asked me. I woke up instantly and spilled a little bit of milk on me. "Here, let me get you a napkin." She put down her bowl and ran into the kitchen.

She came back with a few and I said, "Thanks Jade. I don't know what's going on with me today." "You're probably just nervous. Don't be. Whoever it is, don't be nervous to meet them." She said to me. "I know, I just..I just don't feel right about all of this. What's the plan again?" She explained what she was going to do and I kinda understood it. I mean, I was tired so I kinda missed a few things here.

I looked at the clock on the wall. 8:36. "Better get ready. It's almost time." I said, beginning to walk away. "Wait, aren't you gonna finish you're cereal?" I stared at the bowl for a few seconds. "No, I think I'm okay. I'll just get ready." I walked away.

Should I just wear something casual? I mean, it's not like I'm gonna meet the person at a club or something. Fine, I'll wear something casual. Then I got a message.
Unknown: Meeting me at the park, right?
I didn't answer the person, I just left it alone while I got ready. I heard Jade walk upstairs. This time, she didn't come inside to see if I was okay. Eh, she's probably getting ready too.

Anyways, I got dressed and walked back downstairs. "Jade?" I said hoping that she was down here. "Still up here! I'll be down in a minute!" She shouted from back upstairs. "Okay!" I shouted back. She finally came down and we went to the car right away. We started driving and I gave her directions to make sure we didn't get lost.

"Stop here. You get off and hide behind that tree. I'm gonna be sitting at that bench over there which really isn't that far away." I said to Jade. She nodded agreeing with me. "HURRY!" I said kinda pushing her out the car. I drove away from her, my heart beating fast.

I stopped and parked into a parking space. I walked out and looked over at the tree. She touched her hair meaning that she knows what to do. I touched my hair to let her know that we got it. I sat down and waited for the person to come. I checked my phone. No messages from the person.

"You came." Said a voice coming from behind me. I didn't turn around, instead the person came right in front of me to sit across from me. "It's nice to see you again." I looked at the person in confusion. "It's you?"

Sorry for the cliffhanger guys but you'll find out sooner or later. But I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OVER 1K READS! You guys don't know how much that means to me. I literally saw that a few hours ago and my heart started crying. I'm literally so happy that so many of you guys read my story. Anyways, it's almost the end of BOOK 1!
