Chapter 30 - Don't Leave Me Hanging

Perrie's POV

"So, you love her right?" I asked her, to make sure once again that she loved her. "Uh...OF COURSE I DO! Pez, why would you ask a question like that!" She was busy playing with the puppy and I went upstairs. I called Jesy while Jade was still distracted. I would've called Leigh but she was busy with her boyfriend.

"Hey Jes? I don't know if I can do it. I don't know if I can go through with it...what if she cries?" I was talking really fast and I could my heart beating out of my chest. "Perrie. Calm down. You can do this. You've been practicing weeks for this moment. You even practice on me and Leigh. You. Can. Do. This. Now go out there and say it!" Then she hung out.

Thanks Jes..but should I do it in a public area or in private? I'm so afraid that she might cry. I hate it when people cry. It's the worst feeling in the world. I walked back downstairs with my phone in my back pocket.

"What was that about? I heard you talking to someone." Jade asked me as soon as she saw me. "Oh nothing, it's just a little business with Jesy. She..and I were talking about some business things. Don't worry about it." She nodded and continued to play with Camille.

I was kinda flinching because I was nervous about what I was about to tell her later. "Hey..do you want to go out to eat? Or do you want to get something and bring it back home?" She thought about it for a second. "Uh, lets go out to eat. I mean, I would really love to stay and play with Camille but I just wanna eat." She said leaving Camille and walking up to me.

"Okay well, what do you want to eat? Just anything or something specific?" "Honestly Pez, I just feel like eating anything. I'm really hungry right now."

Jade's POV

Why was she asking me all these questions. Of course I love Camille, I mean..I've always wanted a dog. Of course I would love to go out and eat. Like who doesn't love food? Something about Perrie is off but I just like to play it off. "What about you? How are you feeling?" Right when I said that, her eyes got a bit bigger.

"Um..I'm alright. I could eat something but I'm not that hungry." She told me. I could see her playing with her hands. I held her arms and said, "Perrie, what's really going on? Are you okay? Do you want to stay home? If so, that's-"

"Jade, I'm fine. I guess I'm just a little shocked that you love Camille so much." She was tense when I first held her, now she's relaxing a bit. "Of course I do Perrie, what do I have to do? Write in the sky 'I LOVE CAMILLE!'?" I laughed. I let go of her arm and she walked over to Camille. "I love Camille too."

"I'll go get dressed and we can go. Alright Perrie?" She nodded her head, still playing with Camille. My two favorite girls bonding together. I walked upstairs humming a song that I like. What should I wear? Eh, just wear something simple. You're not going anywhere special.

~15 minutes later~

I walked back downstairs and saw Pez on the phone with someone. She's whispering..she's never done that before. "Jesy..help...don't know is she.." I hear words hear and there but I couldn't think about what she was talking to Jesy about. "Jade.." I heard my name and that's when I wanted to know what was going on.

I got myself together and acted like I didn't hear anything. "So, are you ready?" When I came out, she got off the phone as the drop off a hat. "Yeah I am. Let's go." She said goodbye to Camille and I said my goodbyes too.

~30 minutes later~

We ended up eating in a sorta-fancy restaurant. How did we end up here? <- (If you got that, I love you.) I'm not sure, but the food sure is hella expensive but it's all worth it. "What are you getting?" I asked her. "Not sure, maybe a pasta or some soup. Nothing much cause it's so expensive." She said still looking through her menu.

"I think I might get something small like a...spaghetti?" I told her. "Yeah, I'm gonna go with that." She giggled a bit. "So..Perrie? I--" Should I tell her that I overheard her talking to Jesy?

"Yeah? What is it?" Perrie said, sounding a bit concerned. "Uh..nothing. I'll tell you later." I said to her. I was getting anxiety now...I wanted to tell her but I don't want her to know that I overheard her.

~1 hour later~

Perrie's POV

It's time now. I'm gonna do it. "Jade," I said, taking her by her hands. "You know I love you. You know I want to be with you. You know that ever since the day we first met, I knew we were meant to be. Jade Amelia Thirlwall, I just have one thing to ask you." I got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" I took out of the ring and waited for her answer.

Jade's POV

"Will you marry me?" She asked me. I just stood there in shock. I didn't know what to say. I love Pez but do I want to be with her for the rest of my life? I love her to death and I wouldn't know what to do without her.

Okay.

I know what I'm gonna say..

"Perrie, I.."
