"What happened ?" I scream as I run to Jordan's mom . We just reached the hospital in Georgia . We had to get a direct flight . On the flight I thought a lot through . Jordan's mom does have another daughter but that wouldn't be a reason she called . If anyone would call me because of that it would've been Jordan.
"Jordan's heart has collapsed 2 times already but they've brought her back, thankfully ." April says through the tears .
"So she's alive ?" Sierra asks with a hopeful voice .
"For now ."
"What do you mean 'For now !' " I lash .
"She may not make it, Katie ."
"She has to ! She's my best friend!" I break down . Like, I literally fall to my knees leaving Ross there to catch me . Sierra and I start crying again .
After a while, we calm down but Ross is still rocking me back and forth and Rocky's doing the same thing with Sierra .
"What happened ? Why is she even in here ?" I practically whisper .
"After JM and I got a divorce he became best friends with Jordan's dad, he moved in with him and everything . Jordan couldn't handle the stress anymore so she moved in with them . Her father got out back in rehab, JM came awfully close to it . Jordan was stuck with JM as a guardian, which stressed her out even more, him as well . He got drunk earlier, and Jordan came home later then normal from her job . She brought Arby's for herself and didn't bring him any . He beat her, really bad . He punched, kicked, slapped, burned, more, to her . Luckily I went to drop off the rest of her clothes or he would've killed her . He's in jail now, or a holding into she gets better enough to make a statement ." She explains .
"Shouldn't Joel know about this ?" Sierra gets out .
"Actually, that's why she was stressed out at home . Joel cheated on her with Courtney . In fact he never even moved, he just disappeared from her . She found out when she went to Walmart one day . She saw them . She claims everything in the house reminded her of Joel, so she left ."
"Why didn't she tell me ?" I question .
"This just happened last week . She knew you we on tour ." April shrugs .
"Guardians of Jordan Harless ?" A nurse appears .
"Here ." April waves .
"Jordan's is at a very delicate position . We have revived her and luckily her heart hasn't stopped a third time . She is very beat up, too much damage to explain here . Although, she is now awake and hopefully she will remain that way . " Nurse Patty explains .
"Can we see her ?" Mrs. April asks .
"Yes . She is responding . 3 at a time ." She commands .
"Go ." Ross whispers . I untangle our fingers and latch mine around Sierra's .
Her mom, Sierra and I walk onto Jordan's hospital room . She looks so broken, literally . Bandages cover her whole body, she has two casts on and a neck brace . I'm gonna kill his ass .
"Hey babygirl ." April soothes.
Her eyes flutter open . "Hi ." Jordan chokes out .
"Hey boo ." I mumble .
"Hey." She smiles .
"Sierra's here to !" Sierra scoffs .
"Hey Sierra ." Jordan chuckles .
"Mom, I wanna talk to them, only them ." Jordan comments hinting her mom should leave . April gets the hint and leaves .
"I'm sorry this happened to you ." I apologize .
"It's not anybody's fault except his." She hisses the last part .
Silence fills the room . "Can y'all sing to me ?" Jordan asks .
"Of course . What song ?" Sierra exclaims .
"Oath ." Jordan recommends .
I smile . That's Jordan and I's best friend song .
