Chapter 42: Not Just A Dream

"HELP ." I scream in hope for a savior .

"Katie it'll be okay ." Sierra pants .

"How could you say that ." Rydel snaps .

It's dark, every other hour a masked figure comes and abuses us in some form . We basically have a one hour, what we called, 'Break', before he returns . We've been here for what feels like I week now . Tied up to a bed , beaten every hour . Everything hurts . The last time we've eaten was yesterday morning. I can't remember the last time we've had a drink .

"Hey sluts ." He returns.

"We're not sluts !" I spit .

"Katie just stop, your not gonna help yourself ." Sierra begs . I stay quiet .

"Since you wanna talk first, you'll receive punishment first ." He grins .

No, we don't know who this man is but we're positive it's a man . All that's going through my mind is how to get out of here .. And Ross .

The figure brings out a sharp knife .

"You'll pay. " He says as he slide the knife across my stomach . This is probably the worst punishment he's giving us .

Rydel and Sierra cry out for me and attempt to get free .

"AHHH !" I scream in pain .

"Katie, Katie wake up ." Ross' voice shakes me . It was all a dream, well nightmare ? It felt so real . Small tears stream down my face as I clutch my sides . I rock back and forth in my bed crying .

"Baby, please talk to me ! Are you okay ?" Ross tries . I cry harder .

Ross attempts to pull me into his lap but I resist .

"Sierra !" He calls out . I hear as her feet run into the room .

"What's wrong?" She panics .

"I don't know ! She won't talk to me. Help me please . Help her ." He chokes out .

"Give me a sec ." She orders .

Ross' body weight is removed from the bed and Sierra's lighter weight is applied . He arms wrap around me and I burrow myself in her shoulder .

"Shhh ... Shhh . Katie, shhh . Listen . Ross is really worried about you, I'm worried about you . Please tell me what happened . " She whispers .

"Kidnapped . Guy . You . Rydel . Cut . Stomach . " I stutter clutching my stomach harder .

"It was just a nightmare ." She strokes my hair .

"Ross. " I cry out .

"I'm right here baby ." His voice seems distant .

"Come . Here ." I pant .

"I got her ." Ross assures . Sierra passes me over to Ross's muscular arms .

"Babygirl, shh it's okay . I'm here , I got you ."

\ROSS P.O.V/

When I heard Katie scream I panicked . I didn't know what was happening . I raced into the sleeping quarters . She was sitting there shaking, sweating and crying at the same time . Which I didn't think was possibly when she was asleep . She was also whimpering .. It hurt me to see her like this .

I shake her awake but she forces me away . As much as I didn't want to I called for Sierra . I know I just sounded selfish but I want to be the one to help her but I figured since Sierra is her best friend, well one of them, she'd have experience .

I hear Katie stuttering to tell Sierra . She had a really bad nightmare . I put the pieces together and came up with that she dreamed her and the girls were kidnapped and the guy cut her stomach .

When Katie asked for me I was relived . Her eyes were still screwed shut but she was a beautiful as ever . Sierra leaves once I dismiss her .

"Babygirl, shh it's okay . I'm here , I got you ." I sooth .

"It felt so real ." She cries .

I stay silent, as she starts the story . I flinch once she mentions the cut part . I could tell it felt real to her . I've never seen her so scared . Once she finished I figured it was my time to speak .

"Listen baby, I'd do anything and everything in my power to make sure that doesn't happen to you . I couldn't live with myself if someone did that to you . I love you . You are my whole world and I love you too much to let that happen to you to easily . Even if it did . I would not rest until I found you." I spills then kiss her .
