Chapter 7: Hospital

I wake up with blinding lights in my eyes . I have no clue where I am but I know I have a killer headache . I don't remember anything except the new house . I know my life and everything but I don't know where I am or why I'm here . My eyes come into focus and I notice a floral patterned wallpapered room , a white board with my name, blood type and, Nurse : Jaylen written on it . I look down to examine my body, I have on a white papered dress with small blue Lola dots on there . It's not a cute dress more like a hospital dress . Wait! Nurse ? Hospital Dress ? I quickly look at my wrist searching for a hospital band . My thoughts were confirmed . My wrist holds a plain white hospital band with a sticky white sticker with small black writing . I exam the bracelet with more detail .

Reasons : Dizziness, faint .

So I'm in here because I fainted . My thoughts are cut short by someone entering the room . Even though I'm blinded by hospital lights I can make out the muscular body and beach blonde hair . He is carrying pink Callie Lillie's, a teddy bear and bag of Taco Bell food . He doesn't seem to notice me being awake .

"Ross ." I choke out in my choppy voice .

His eyes shoot straight toward the bed, "Katie ! " He screeches .

I manage a wave an Ross room appears by my side .

"Are you okay, baby girl ! I was so worried !" Ross gets out , he cups my cheeks with both his hands and kisses me passionately for a few seconds .

"Ross what happened ?" I say finally pulling away.

"We were moving in to our new house edits we left you said you felt dizzy and I guess you just rushed it off , you were moving a box of clothes and stumbled on the last step . You feel down the first set of stairs . I was so scare I was gonna lose you . You've been in here for two days . You ht you he's pretty badly . And the reason that you were dizzy was because you were dehydrated . They had to put two IV'S in you . I feel like this is my fault . " Ross speeches .

"Don't think that . It's clearly mine . I'm so sorry I scared you ." I apologize .

"It's neither of us okay ?"

I nod . "When can I leave ?"

"Let me ask ." Ross says leaving my side and exiting the room .

About 5 minutes later Ross walks back in .

"Your doctor said as soon as the last hit of medication gets in your system ." Ross kisses for forehead .

He walks over to a portable tray table and a stool . He finally eats the tacos from earlier .

"I want some ." I plea .

"I'll get you a Baja Blast Freeze after we leave here, deal ?" He promises .

"Deal , but .." I start

Ross' eyes shoot up .

"It has to be a large and I also want a Distortion, Typhoon, Pink Lemonade and a Piña Colada . All larges ! "

"Geez ! Why do you want so many ? " Ross says clearly shocked .

"Save them for later ." I shrug .

"But .." Ross starts but then I give him the puppy dog face and he softens .

"Fine ! " He crosses his arms like a 10 year old .

I laugh at his childishness, Ross glares at me .

We were there for 30 more minutes until I was unhooked from the machines and released from the hospital . Ross drives to the nearby Taco Bell and orders all the freezes . It takes 2 drink carriers to hold them all . Once the drive through girl noticed only two people, we received a strange stare. Ross pulls away . I place my straw into the Piña Colada freeze first and drink the amazing flavored drink .
