Chapter 57 : Dress Shopping

Today's the day, today I find the dress . As in my wedding dress . The girls will find theirs too but this is the only dress I've ever looked forward to wearing . My sister, mom, aunt and cousins arrived here two days ago, they've been staying in Ross and I's house . We have a lot of extra rooms for when Ryland, Rydel, Ratliff, Riker, Rocky and Sierra decide to spend the night .

On the day of the wedding all the guys are gonna stay at my sisters house with Brett and all the girls are gonna stay at my parents house .

We've been in California for almost 2 months now . Jordan has settled very well . The Lynch's treat her as family, just like me and Sierra .

"Katie, it's time to go !" My mother warns .

I grab my cell phone, in case Ross calls me . He's with the guys looking for tuxes and other decorations I sent him to get .

I look at myself in the mirror one last time . I've grown to look different, more grown up. My hair is a lighter shade of brown, and my eyes are almost bluer . It may just be the mascara that are applied on my eyelashes that make it pop . I wear more Hollister now rather then Areópostal, I suppose the Lynch's wore off on me .

"Katie ! Today, please !" My mother shouts again .

I run downstairs and meet up with my wedding party and family .

"Sorry ." I apologize as we pile into the car .

We take 2 different cars. In the Lynch's van is Stormie (who's driving), Ross' grandmother (who's in the passenger seat), Beauty, her mother and Rydel (in the back), and finally in the way- back is Raini, Laura and Ally . In my moms Tahoe, which seats 8, is my mom (who's driving), my aunt (who's in the passenger seat), Allison, Kayla and Ashley (in the back), and myself, Jordan and Sierra in the way back .

Now we wait, or drive, until we get to the David's Bridal Dress Shop .

---At The Dress Store---

"Do I have to .?" I complain yet again . We've been at David's Bridal for 3 hours now and I still haven't found the dress .

"Katie, suck it up . It's your wedding ! You have to look absolutely stunning !" Ally persuades .

"Ugh, fine ." I groan .

"Okay, for the final time, what exactly do you have in mind.?" Melissa asks for honestly the 20th time . Melissa is helping me find a dress . She worked here for a little over 5 years now .

"Strapless, fit and flare preferably, sweetheart neckline, a hint of hot pink somewhere ." I acknowledge .

"Wait ! I have to perfect thing !" Melissa exclaims . I roll my eyes, she's said that the last 13 dresses .

10 minutes later Melissa comes back holding yet another gown .

"Try it on ." She orders . I take the dress from her hands and into the dressing room .

I manage to zip it up by myself . It fits perfectly . I turn around to the mirror and my jaw drops .

It's exactly what I wanted . It's a sweetheart neckline and a fit in flare . The top has riffles and the bottoms resembles the shape of flowers . They overlap so you know they're not what you think . The dress has a slight train . That's the thing that makes it so unique . On the train is diamonds, he's diamonds, but they are hot pink and the material around them are as well, just a lighter shade .

"Katie ? Can we see ?" Rydel's voice is begging .

I don't reply, instead I walk out of the dressing room ...
