"Excuse me, my daughter passed out over 15 minutes ago due to a bump to the head and she still hasn't woken up . Pleas help ." Stormie rushes .
"Just let me get a wheelchair . Check in at the desk ." The nurse orders .
Stormie walks over to the check in desk .
"Set here her ." The nurse instructs . Ratliff places Rydel carefully with silent tears streaming down his face .
"My name is Marie, I'll take of her ." The nurse introduces herself . "And what's her name ?"
"Rydel . Rydel Mary Lynch ." Ratliff coldly states .
"She's gonna be fine, sir ." Marie gives a sympathetic smile . "And may I ask y'all's relation ."
"I'm her boyfriend ." Ratliff replies .
"And you all ." She directs to us .
"I'm her sister-in-law, those are her bothers, mom, dad, and that girl is her brothers long time girlfriend ." I explain .
"Big family ." She states . We nod . Then Marie leaves with Rydel for the assigned room .
---2 Hours Later ---
Ratliff is crying into Stormie's shoulder . It's been 2 hours and the doctor is still checking to see what is wrong with Rydel .
"Parents of a Rydel Lynch ." The doctor calls out .
"Right here!" Stormie and Mark stand up, but Ellington is right behind them . His eyes are still glossy from tears .
"It appears as if your daughter has a slight concussion, she still hasn't woken up, and we're afraid that if she doesn't wake up later then a week she will have severe brain damage and maybe even a brain tumor ." The doctor informs .
"No .." Ell sobs . Rocky bends down to help his best friend .
"What is gonna happen if she does wake up ?" Mark questions .
"The worst thing will be she has minor memory lost . Also, we recommend that she stay away from loud noises. " The Doctor responds . I hear mumbling .
"He wants to know if he can see her ?" Rocky asks, for Ratliff .
"Visiting hours are over but feel free tomorrow ." Doctor McIntyre dismisses himself .
"Let's go to bed kids all we'll visit her first thing tomorrow morning ." Stormie's instructs .
"Ryland, call Andre and tell him that the rest of tour is going to be cancelled due to an injury with Rydel . " Mark commands . Ryland walks away dialing a number on his phone .
"Dad, what about the fans ?" Ross shrieks . I feel so bad . Performing is the thing Ross loves most . When he's on stage is when he's alive .
"We can't have a show without Rydel. "
"What if Katie plays keyboard ?" Riker chimes in .
"Would you ?" Ross turns to me . Aw man, the puppy dog eyes .
"Of course ."
"Then we have to have someone sing her song ? Fans love Rydel's voice, they pay to hear her too ." States Mark .
"Sierra or Katie can sing it . Or we can just cut it from the set list . It's only 3 more shows left ." Ross pleas .
"Okay, okay ." Mark sighs in defeat .
"Sorry, dad . I couldn't get ahold of Andre ." Ryland returns .
"We've decided not to cancel . Katie will fill in on keyboard and we'll cut 'Love Me Like That' out of the set ." Mark orders . Ryland nods .
We leave the hospital, but we shall return tomorrow .
