Chapter 86: Dinner Announcments

I ended up making Ross a sandwich anyway because he would stop whining and his puppy dog face works on me every time .

We just left for the dinner at his parents house. Stormie is preparing a home made meal . For once we won't be going out to eat something restaurant . Apparently there's some big news they want to share with us tonight .

I'm wearing simple white skinny jeans and a decorative pink shirt with sandals . Ross is wearing his usual, ripped skinny jeans and a yellow v-neck shirt with a leather jacket over it .

"Babe, what do you think they have to tell us ?" I ask as we pull out of our driveway.

Ross shrugs, "Probably just about next years tour . Don't worry to much ."

I nod .

---At The Dinner---

We all ate in silence, un aware if the announcement will be good or bad . Stormie cooked the classic baked chicken with noodles, and Mac-N-Cheese due to Rocky's request . Everyone's here. Stormie, Mark, Ally, Ryland, Jordan, Rocky, Sierra, Riker, Justine, Ratliff, Rydel, Ross and myself .

The silence finally breaks someone .

"I hate to be a family buzz kill here but is there any chance we can get that news so we can talk like a normal family at a normal dinner ." Sierra suggest .

Sierra and I have never really been able to eat in silence . In middle school, eighth grade, we switched lunch tables . It was around the time Joel and Jordan broke up the first time, she always stayed quiet, reading . Everyone else was silent after that not wanting to upset her . Eventually me and Sierra got sick of it and moved tables . We sat with all the guys who always joked around at lunch, our best guy friends .

"That's fine ." Stormie smiles . Sierra breathes out relived she didn't upset anybody .

"We have a couple of announcements ." Mark states standing up with Stormie and Ally . They always consult with Ally if it has something to do with us, as in me and Sierra .

"First off, kids me and your father have been thinking about some things ." Stormie states .

"Like what ?" Riker questions .

"Your mother and I, will be moving back to Colorado by the end of June ." Mark announces . Gasps fill the air .

"What ? Why ?" Ross says .

"Some of the family needs us back there and you all are old enough to take care of yourselves . Your always off doing your own thing any way . You have y'all's own lives . Ross and Katie, you already have a house together and will be married in less then a month . Rocky and Sierra, y'all are pretty serious as well and you've already been discussing moving in together . Rydel you've already been offered to move in Ellington. Jordan you still legally live with Ally but Ally has agreed to let Ryland live in the spare bedroom for your safety. " Mark replies, explains

"What about me .?" Riker coughs .

"Riker your gonna be 25 soon, and we've decided to leave you the house ." Stormie soothes.

"What ? The house ?" Riker repeats in surprise .

"We know you all have grown attached to the house and we don't want y'all to leave another house behind ." Mark assures . "So yes, Riker, you get the house ."

"But, Riker, if the others aren't sure about moving out yet, they still have their rooms here ." Stormie warns .

"Of course ."

"Why June ?" Rydel asks .

"We wanted to wait until after the wedding, we didn't want the chaos of dealing with moving and the wedding . " Mark says .

We all nod . Taking it in .

"I have 2 announcements ." Ally speaks breaking the new silence .

"Sierra and Katie ." She starts grabbing our attention . "You'll be going back to Georgia ."
