Chapter 43: Grabs

"How you guys doing tonight !?" Ross greets as R5 takes the stage for yet another show .

It's been a week since I've had that nightmare . I figured it would be best to forget about it, but it still bothers me . Ross says nothing like that will happen but you can never be so sure .

Hermosa just got off stage and this crowd is awesome . They knew all of our songs Nd some even came to see only us . Ally mentioned how we should take a solo tour in a few months . That's just gonna have to wait in my opinion . Maybe even after my wedding . Speaking of the wedding, Ross and I are still trying to decide colors . We want the wedding party to be in thief favorite couple but the problem is the colors don't match up as the couple . Either someone will have to compromise or we'll end up having a mismatching wedding party .

Rydel's song is next, I looked at their set list . 'Love Me Like That' beat came on . Rydel grabbed her rhinestoned, pink microphone and stepped to the middle of the stage .

"Ahh !" Rydel screams . I snap my head towards the stage once I hear the scream most causing whiplash .

Rydel was pulled off the stage .

"Rydel !" Ratlif shrieks .

The music stops . Ross and Riker jump down off the stage and grab Rydel from the adoring fans . They hand her up to Rocky and Ratliff . Rydel doesn't move, and blood is flowing from her head . Sierra and I rush back on stage and many people applaud .

"The show will continue shortly ." Mark says . Ratliff picks Rydel up bridal style and takes her backstage . We sit her into a chair . Her eyes flutter open .

"Ow ." She chuckles .

"This isn't funny babe !" Ratliff states sternly . Rydel looks a little taken back . Suddenly Ratliff disappears . We hear Ratliff's angry voice through a microphone and assume he's yelling at the fans . Mark goes to handle him . Wow, quite exciting . Hint the sarcasm .

"Rydel are you okay ?" I ask .

"Noise hurts ." She mumbles closing her eyes .

"Rock, take her to the bus . She can't perform ." Stormie sighs . Rocky lifts his sister the same way Ellington did and went to the tour bus . Before he can Ratliff stops him .

"I'll take her ." He says holding Rydel . Rocky rejoins us .

"Well, we have to finish the show . Who's gonna play keyboard ?" Riker asks .

"Sierra, you know how to play!" Rocky suggest . I stay silent .

I play the keyboard . Secretly . The only one who knows is Ross . Only because he heard me practicing one day and begged me to tell him . How could I say no to those puppy dog eyes .? The only songs I know though are R5's because Rydel's keyboard parts are really cool .

"Yeah . But I don't know y'all songs ." She shrugs . Everyone starts panicking . It seems like Ross had a light bulb pop up above his head . He looks at me with pleading eyes .

"I'll do it ." I choke out . Everyone looks at me, confused .

"I can play keyboard ." I admit .

"Since when ?" Rocky chokes .

"I've been practicing ."

"What can you play ?" Ask Riker .

"All y'all's songs ."

"Prove it ." Ryland says .

I walk over to the rehearsal keyboard and press a key l making sure it was in tune . I take a breathe and start playing to chords to 'If I Can't Be With You' . I sing the lyrics in my head to make sure I stay in key . Once I finished the song I look up to mesmerized eyes .

"Wow . You can play !" Rocky compliments . I smile, so does Ross .

"We got a keyboard player then !" Riker announces .

"Alright . Y'all can finish performing now . Security escorted the two girls that pulled Rydel off the stage to the back ."

We nod . I'm surprised at myself that I finished the show on a keyboard and didn't mess up, once !

"Guys, hurry , we have to take Rydel to the hospital, she's passed out !" Stormie rushes once we step off stage .

Worry faces spread across the room .
