Soon enough, im at the end of the alter, and Ross is standing 1 foot away from me smiling brighter then ever.
"Who gives this women to this man?" The pastor, Johnathon says. Johnathon will be marrying us.
"I and her mother do." My dad says, and we fist bump. Which is our thing. He smiles, and i return it.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy Matrimony; If any man can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace. "
No one speaks.
"Okay, the couple has decided to write their own vows. "
Ross takes a breath, and grabs my hands. "Katie, words cant describe how in love i am with you. Everytime i see you, i lose my breathe. Its been 4 years today, Happy anniversary by the way," He chuckles and so do the audience. "and yet i still get knots in my stomach when i look into your eyes. I love every detail about you and im blessed i can call you mine. I thought my life was perfect but then i met you, and i held you in my arms and thats the moment i realized the real defintion of perfect was. And thats you." He smiles.
"Ross, youve changed my life. I never expected to even have you in my life besides you being in a radio. I love you. I thought i knew what that was but i didnt until you came along and showed me. I love the way you make me feel, and your voice, and how confident and down to earth you are. Theres nothing i would change about these 4 amazing years with you. You make me so happy, and that what youve always done." I finish and take a look around to my family and freinds, and most are crying or about to. I look Ross in the eyes and whisper, 'I love you." and he replies back 'I love you too.'
"Ross take this ring and place it on Katie's ring finger on her left hand and repeat after me." Johnathon starts. "I Ross take you Katie, to be my wife.."
"I Ross take you, Katie, to be my wife..."
Ross listens to Johnathon and I zone out taking in the words Ross is saying.
"To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse.."
"For richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, I promise to love and cherish you." Ross finishes . I smile.
"Now, Katie take this ring and place it on Ross' ring finger on his left hand and repeat after me."
Ive studied this but i still listen to the minister without breaking eye contact with Ross.
"I Katie, take you Ross, to be my husband..." I begin.
" To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse..."
"For richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, I promise to love and cherish you. " I finish. Ross smiles even more.
"Do you Ross Lynch, take this women, Katie Dorsey to be your lawfully wedded wife from this day on?." Johnathon asks.
"I do. " Ross says.
"Do you Katie Dorsey, take this man, Ross Lynch to be your lawfully wedded husband from this day on?"
"I do." I smile. And Ross's face becomes relieved.
"You may now kiss the bride."
Thats exactly what Ross does, his hands were clutching my cheeks before Johnathon finishes his sentence. His lips connect with mine. We pull away and everyone stands up and claps.
I just got married to... Ross Shor Lynch.
