Teasing the badboy (part 2)

     Getting ready for a date with one of the hottest guys in school is quite difficult. Especially considering that you have no clue where your going whatsoever. I had texted him earlier but in turn received a text saying, 'Just dress casual, but bring a jacket'.

 I had looked in my whole closet and still didn't find anything suitable, so I called Brandy but she didn't pick up. I don't know why its so hard to find something casual, but it is. I finally just sighed and picked out a beige tank top-blouse and some jeans. I walked over to my dresser and opened one of my drawers, deciding to sport a black sweater around my waist.

Yasmina currently had one of my favorite pair of shoes so I settled with some regular old black converse. I only had about ten minutes before Hayden got here so I quickly rushed to my bathroom, put some moose in my hair and fluffed it up a bit with my hand. After that, I put a beige headband in my hair to hold it back and checked the time. I had 5 minutes to do my makeup. I took my tiny makeup bag out from under my sink and applied some blush, mascara and the teeniest bit of lip gloss, you could barely even tell it was there.

I heard a knock on the bathroom door so I quickly stuffed my makeup into the bag and threw it under my sink.

I swung the door open and asked, "What?" "Someone's here for you." I rolled my eyes at Vincent and walked past him. Walking to the door, I smiled and opened the door. Hayden took my hand gently and kissed my knuckles. Blushing, I smiled and looked as Vincent came down the stairway and starred Hayden down. He brought his phone to his ear and murmured, "Yeah, he's here and he looks pretty suspicious." I rolled my eyes and called out loud enough for the person on the other end to hear, "Hey Daniel." "She's onto us Daniel, its best we follow her to wherever she's going."

"Its best that you don't do that. Now tell Daniel to get over his jealousy and to go back into his own business. And what is he even talking on, his moms phone?" Hayden laughed from behind me and Vincent rolled his eyes nodding and going back upstairs.

He guided me outside to his car and opened the passengers door for me. He turned on the radio and we listened to 'I'm yours' by Jason Mraz. It took us about 17 minutes to get to our destination, but when we did I almost squealed.

It was the county fair and I have always loved them. I got out of the car with Hayden and walked to the entrance. The guy in the booth gave us our tickets and we walked in. He released his grip from mine and I ran to the candy apple stand. They were very well the best snack at a fair you could buy. Hayden came up beside me and said, "We'll take two candy apples please." The vender  gave us the apples and Hayden paid him 10 dollars. I shook my head, "No its okay, I can pay for it." He shook his head and held his hand up, "No its fine, Ella. Its my treat tonight. I'll pay for any and everything you want." I smiled and took my candy apple in my hand.

We sat down at a bench and began eating our delicious treat. "So what's the whole deal with Daniel being jealous?" He asked casually.

"I don't know. He thinks that he's the only one who can-" I stopped talking when I saw two familiar faces walking past us.

I tightened my hand and got up, throwing my candy apple away and stalking towards them. I grabbed Vincent by his shoulder and turned him around, "What did I tell you about following me, Vincent!?" He shrugged, "Daniel wanted to go to the fair. What's wrong with that?" "What's wrong with it, is that you decided to go at the same time we did, on the same night and follow us here!"

"And you Daniel, need to get over yourself, cause not every girl is going to want you, okay? Its really just getting sad now." I said gently. Luckily I said all of this quiet enough so Hayden couldn't hear me ranting.
