We're doing our job and we're ourselves as well for the attack.

He could've get me, pero bakit kailangan niya pang idamay ang iba? I am what he wants, may chance siyang kunin ako noong nag kita kami.

I shake my head at nag focus nalang sa mga estudyanteng naglalakad sa baba.

It isn't a hard job for me since I have an enhanced senses.

It's really frustrating, you know. I am powerful and strong but I can't do anything to save Aly.

"Blaming yourself again?" I looked at my side and him standing. Nakatingin din ito sa baba kagaya ko.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him. Tumingin ako rito na nakakunot ang noo.

"Just checking on you. I know you're silently blaming yourself for I don't know what reason," Gavin said. Mabilis talagang makatunog ang isang 'to.

"You don't really need to know, Gav," I said at muling tumingin sa baba.

"Stop blaming yourself, El. Ikaw ba ang kumuha? Hindi naman, 'di ba? Everything that is happening around you is bound to happen. Instead of blaming yourself, condition yourself so that you can fight for Aly tomorrow," sabi nito. I sighed.

He's right.

"Go back to your place, Gav. I appreciate your words," I said and gave him a small smile.

"I want to stay here, ang lakas ng hangin. Nakaka relax," sabi nito.

Nakakarelax nga rito, that's why I chose to be here.

"Bakit may masasamang tao sa mundo?" I randomly asked. Iyan naman lagi kong naiisip.

"To balance the world, El. You know Yin and Yang? Life is like that, it should be balanced. May mabuti, may masama. Hindi mo naman masasabing mabuti ang isang tao kung walang masasama, hindi ba? Hindi mo malalaman ang mabuti kung walang masama," He explained.

I get it. It's the same concept as the light and the dark.

Everything around here is really complicated. May iba't-ibang explanation ang lahat.

"How does it feel to have a mother?" He suddenly asked.

Muli akong napalingon sa kanya, this time ay nakatingin na rin siya saakin. He's being transparent again. I can see the sadness and longing in his eyes.

"I'm an adopted child, Gavin, but mom didn't fail to give me the love of a mother. It's overwhelming, Gav. Though, I am still craving for the love of a real mother," sagot ko rito.

"Right. I wish I can feel that, too. I got to go, El. Magbabantay na ulit ako," He said and smiled at me.

"Sige," Iyon na lang ang sinabi ko. Tumalikod na ito saakin at naglakad paalis.

It's lunchtime at nandito kami sa dorm. Hindi kami sa cafeteria dahil we're avoiding an issue. Alam naming mapapansin ng lahat ang pagkawala ni Aly, and that will bring chaos.

"Hindi ba natin ipapaalam sa parents ni Aly?" Aira asked. Oo nga? Hindi namin naisip 'yon, ah.

"No. Magkakagulo ang lahat. Alam mo naman kung paano mataranta ang Reyna," sabi ni Clark. Okay, I feel out.

"If things got worst, ipapaalam natin," sabi ni Kuya. We nodded. They have the rights to know, though.

"Just one more sleep and we will finally get to attack them," sabi ni Gavin. I can feel everyone's will to save Aly.

"I can't wait to knock them out," Gigil na sabi ni kuya.

He's not getting enough sleep. Lagi itong puyat kaiisip kay Aly. Saaming lahat ay siya ang pinaka nag-alala and we're not stupid to not to know why.

Clark is smelling my hair.

His gesture is making me calm. I feel calm around him. Para bang walang problemang makakalapit saakin.

"You okay?" I whispered. I felt him nod kaya tumahimik na ulit ako.

"Puputulan ko ng balls ang tanginang lalaking 'yon," sabi naman ni Lance at pinatunog pa ang mga daliri.

"Let's get back to our duty," sabi ni Clark.

He's still holding my hand..

"Balik na sa duty mo," sabi ko rito.

Umiling ito at dinala ako sa lugar ko kanina, sa rooftop.

"I have a question," He said. Napatingin naman ako rito.

"Ano?" He pursed his lips at bumuga ng hangin.

"I know this is not the right timing, pero I want to ask you. Are you willing to step up?" Tanong nito. Nangunot naman ang noo.

"Step up? Saan?" I asked confusedly.

"This thing between us. I want to put a label. Let's be official, El," he said.

Nagulat naman ako sa sinabi nito. My heart is beating really fast.

"This is too fast, you know," I suddenly said. I saw how his expression changed.

"I know, but let's give it a try, El," he said almost whispering.

"Clark. I am too occupied to think about something else now. Kaligtasan ni Aly ang nasa isip ko ngayon," I said softly. Nasasaktan din ako sa pinapakita niya, pero what can I do?

"I understand." His voice is low and he's looking away.

"Give me time, Clark. Maybe after all of this ay may isasagot ako sa'yo," I said and flashed a small smile.

Napalingon ito saakin and hope is evident on his eyes.

"Alright. I will wait, then. I am always willing to wait for you, El," sabi nito.

I just chuckled and watched everyone walking and talking happily. I wish we could enjoy the festival, too, but we can't. Lahat kami ay nababagabag kay Aly.

I hope she's still holding on. We will come for you, Aly.
