Don't do it.
What?
Jae Eun stared at the paper note and quickly glanced at Jungkook to see if he had seen it, but he was just staring out of the window, completley unaware.
She kept on re-reading the note and questioned herself. After a few more minutes, they reached the police station and she stuffed the paper back into her pocket.
The officers helped Jungkook out of the car whilst they took him by the arm on each side, and Jae Eun quietly followed them from behind. As soon as she stepped in, she saw her father in the cell at the end of the hallway.
Looking lifeless, he sat whilst staring at the floor and playing with his handcuffs. Jae Eun's eyes widened and she started walking towards it. She took a hold of the cell bars and her father's head shot right up, and he scurried over to her.
"Jae Eun-ah," he started, his voice cracking.
"Dad! How could you do al of that?! What's wrong with you!" she shouted in his face, tears streaming down her face.
"I'm sorry...You can be mad if you want, just like your mother," he looked down, obviously ashamed with himself.
"You're so dumb," she took a hold of his hand and cried her heart out.
Jae Eun couldn't bare to think about her dad being locked up for several months, not getting the right amount of food and love he should. He didn't deserve it.
But one question was running through her mind like crazy. Why did he do it? He was one of the most successful business men in Korea and had all the money that he wanted, so why did he drug deal then?
"Appa, why did you do it?" she asked, in a low voice.
"I-" he was cut off, as the policeman came and stood in between them.
"Ma'am, I'm afraid that your visting time is over," he gestured her towards the front desk, were Jungkook was watching the whole thing. He was being sarcastic about the 'visting time' and she took the hint.
She glanced at her dad, who was waving at her with swelled up eyes, and then motioned for her to go.
Sadly looking away, she trudged away from the scene, and followed the big man who was walking a few steps ahead of her.
Maybe there was a reason that they both did that, and that explains why Jungkook was fiddling and being all quiet in the morning. But the thought of him doing that brang shock to her. Even though he was a typical 'bad boy', she didn't think he would ever thin he would do that.
But maybe she just thought too less of him, right?
The lady at the desk looked at her and nodded to the officer.
"You two, follow me," he said with his firm voice.
Jungkook walked close to Jae Eun, but she stepped further ahead, preventing them from walking side by side.
They went into a small room and it had a desk, with three metal chairs, two on one side and one on the other.
"Sit," the officer gestured to the two metal chairs on the one side, so Jae Eun and Jungkook took a seat next to each other, and taking the chance, he quickly glanced at Jae Eun.
The officer took a seat on the other side with a few papers in his hand and small recorder on the table.
Interrogation room. But why interrogate me?
He flicked through a few of the papers and stared at Jungkook, who returned the threatening look.
"So, Jungkook, you know that the crimes you have commited have serious consequences, right?" he started off and Jungkook nodded, not denying anything.
