"I'm going mom!" Jae Eun shouted from the front door, waiting for a reply.
"Be good at school!" she yelled back, most likely from the kitchen.
Jae Eun managed to calm her mother down from a few days ago, when all she was doing was crying. Even if she stopped in the morning, she would continue crying when Jae Eun wasn't at home.
It was a hard job, but she would make sure her mother wasn't taking too much of a burden on her.
As always, the walk to school was quiet, and the whole school day was even quieter. Jungkook wasn't around, and his whole gang seemed invisible. Fear and worry was apparant on their faces and they didn't even realize fangirls were talking to them: like the hot ones.
Even Soo Hyun started talking to them, but they would just ignore her, lost in their own worlds.
She felt kind of bad for cutting of Jungkook and not letting him explain, but what valid reason was behind the drug dealing? Can there be a valid reason?
She hadn't seen her dad in such a long time, and started missing him. Even though she barely talked to him, that feeling of emptiness was always in her, and she decided to fill it up.
~After school~
After leaving her classroom, her evening was planned out: meet her dad and Jungkook. She walked to the police station, hoping to see them and get some answers.
She stepped into the serious atmosphere and looked around, finding the front desk. She walked up to the lady at the front, who was talking on the phone, and waited for her to notice.
As soon as she looked up, Jae Eun spoke immediatley.
"Can I see Kim Jae Hyun and Jeon Jungkook?" her voice was pitiful and she held puppy eyes at the women.
The lady looked at her for a moment and at her computer screen, typing in a few things and looking back at Jae Eun.
"You can see each of them for 5 minutes max," and she pointed down the hallway. "Take a left, down the hallway and the third cell for Kim Jae Hyun and for Jeon Jungkook, a few more cells down," she turned back to her computer screen.
"Thank you," Jae Eun rushed towards the direction that she was pointed towards and saw her dad in the third cell, sitting back against the wall.
She rushed up to him. "Appa..." her voice broke and his head shot up.
"Jae Eun ah!" he exclaimed, looking down at her face, kissing her on the forehead, through the bars.
"Where have you been?" he questioned.
"I was helping mom...with...this," she looked down and tears were forming in her eyes.
"I'm so sorry," he apologised over and over again, whilst taking her into an embrace.
"But, appa...why did you do this?" she questioned him, and his face turned dark.
"I think that Jungkook knows the story a little better, you should go and talk to him," he replied, looking around, avoiding eye contact with Jae Eun.
"But-" a man came behind her, cutting her off.
"Time's up," it was the same officer from the day of the arrest.
What? It hasn't even been 5 minutes?
Jae Eun looked at her dad and he mouthed the words "Talk to him." He looked at her with reassurance and Jae Eun nodded.
She looked behind her to see if the police officer was still there, but he had disappeared. Walking down a few more cells, she found the familiar figure in the cell.
But...
It wasn't the Jungkook she knew...
