Chapter 29

She felt his warm breath on her lips.

Closing her eyes, she awaited to feel the warm touch of his lips on hers, to treasure the moment and to let him steal her first kiss. 

What are you even thinking? Omg, I'm falling for him....STOP

Crazy thoughts ran through her mind, but the longer she waited, she felt nothing. Jungkook looked at the anticipating girl in front of her and timidly smiled. He leaned in towards her ear instead, and quoted something he should've done a long time ago.

"I was too shy to become your sun so I became a cold moon"

Jae Eun's eyes shot open, and she stared at Jungkook who sat there, smirking at her. 

What..

In utter confusion, she furrowed her eyebrows and replayed the sentence in her mind again. Thinking about it without figuring out the meaning gavE her a headache. Jungkook looked at Jae Eun and found her cute, trying to solve the mystery.

She looked up at him again for some explanation, and he took the hint.

"Fill in the blanks," and that's all he said, before he stood up, and walked off towards the place he came from.

Jae Eun was still trying to figure it out, when it hit her. Bingo. The post-it note. She sat back on the bench and recalled everything that had happened with the mysterious post-it notes everywhere.

~Flashback~

She sat at her desk at the back of the class and flicked through her textbook. Once she got to the chapter she had missed out studying, a post-it note sat on the page.

Fill in the blanks and leave it on your desk

It all made sense now. Well, a little. Jungkook wanted Jae Eun to fill in the blanks so he could have an idea on what she thought about it. And of course, he was right when she thought that no one liked her and wanted to ignore her existance.

After processing the information for a while, she got up and made her way back to where she came from.

She wanted to find out more. Who was the one that gave her the post it note with 'Don't do it' written on it? Was it Jungkook? Or was it someone else?

Seeing all the guys sitting near tree, she walked over to them, catching their attention.

"Where have you been?" Rap Monster asked.

"Just, thininkg about some...things," she sounded a little uneasy, but they let her off.

"By the way, Jae Eun, your're mom came and said that we can wait her for a while because she is filling out forms and whatever to bail Jungkook and your dad out," Jin informed, and Jae Eun nodded her head in agreement.

They all gathered in a circle and V suggested a game to pass time. "Let's play truth or dare!" he exitedley exclaimed.

"Okay, whatever, but I'm going to sleep," Suga announced, sitting further back to lean on the tree, and he ended up falling asleep within seconds.

"Okay! Who starts?" V asked, looking at everyone.

"Me," Jungkook volunteered and glanced at Jae Eun, who quickly looked away.
