"Wake Up! Jae Eun-ah wake up!" a deep familiar voice was shouting close to her ear.
She slowly opened her eyes and saw a man, in a suit next to her face. She shot up, staring at him.
"Come on, you have to - wait, what's on your face?" he leaned in a little to examine the cuts on her face.
Jae Eun completley forgot that she cut herself everywhere yesterday. Her eyes widened when she caught him staring at her.
She covered her face with her hands and made up an excuse.
"It's just some face paint, we have a play in school and I was practicing the makeup," she said thinking that it was too obvious that it was a lie.
"Jae Eun-ah, you can't spend time on a petty play instead of your studies, make sure to wash it off," he said, and left her on her bed. She was shocked that he actually belived it.
She somehow felt a little relieved, but at the same time worried.
How was she going to go to school? People are going to find out all about her cuts.
"Shit!" she cursed.
She quickly got out of bed and went into the bathroom. Whe she looked in the mirror, there was dried blood and scars everywhere.
She sighed heavily, annoyed with herself. With a damp towel, she started clearing up the blood and cleaned up her wounds. She bandaged the back of her head slowly, trying to stop the pain.
Jae Eun ran back to her bedroom, not wanting to waste a single minute. She pulled out her makeup drawer and started applying huge amounts of foundation everywhere. Her face was like a mask, but she didn't care.
She put a bit on her arms and on her legs, and made sure that the scars weren't noticable. She changed into her uniform and plopped on a beanie and ran back downstairs.
The man, who was her fathers secretary, was placing food on the table. He looked up when he saw her, and his eyes narrowed.
"Why so much makeup today?" he asked. "You usually don't wear all that,"
"I wanted to try something new," she simply replied, and started eating the pancakes.
"Your parents are going to be arriving next month from their trip and expect top grades from you," he said, whilst disappearing into the kitchen.
The sound of that broke Jae Eun's heart. Why did her parents expect so much from her? Even though she could become first in the whole school, why did they put so much pressure on their daughter?
Jae Eun hated hearing that, so she just grabbed her bag and stomped out of the house.
She was walking alone in the streets and 6:45 in the morning. Not too many people were around, so she was happy the day wouldn't start of as bad as it did other days.
But all of that took a turn when she was at the school gates.
BTS were all sitting near the entrance, as if they were waiting for her. She quickly stepped back.
How do I avoid them? The back entrance!
Jae Eun walked to the other end of the school, and silently made her way into the building. Once she reached her class, she glanced out of the window and saw BTS in the same place.
She let out a sigh of relief, but realized it wasn't going to be for too long.
~Time Skip~
The lessons had begun and the same throwing paper, and mouthing curse words took place. It was the second lesson, and she just dealt with all the verbal bullying.
As it hit lunch time, she walked into the cafeteria, feeling gazes fall on her.
"She looks like she has a mask on today! Ha!!
"Probably hiding herself behind there!"
People were laughing at their comments, but Jae Eun just kept her head low. She bought her food and was walking out, but a tall figure stepped in front of her.
She looked up and saw him. Jungkook. Her worst nightmare.
"Where were you in the morning? We were waiting for you, but you didn't show up," he was close to her, and as she stepped back, she hit the wall.
"Why are you wearing a beanie today? Hiding something I guess?" he slowly reached for her beanie, but she didn't let him touch her.
She slapped his hand and tried to make a run for it, but he grabbed her arm and slammed her again. Her head was hurting so much, she thought she was going to die any second.
"Don't you dare run away," his voice was deep and scary.
"Let me go!" she was screaming, but no one came to help. They were all too terrified of Jungkook and the rest of the gang.
"I'll let you go..after I'm done with you," a smirk grew on his face.
Suddenly, Jae Eun saw the rest of the gang around, and one was holding a bag. She didn't have time to react. Her mouth was closed shut, and all she could see was darkness.
