Ells' POV
In an instant, we all raced down the hallway and got in line. I actually got some food this time! We had breakfast for dinner today! I mean, yeah, it wasn't pizza or anything... but it was so good!Everyone sat next to Hunter, and kept asking nonstop about what had happened to him and his hair. Luckily, we covered it with an excuse that he had an allergic reaction to a blue popsicle he had during lunch. It caused his magic to turn him into some weird half bird mutant with blue hair.
The boys made this up. Don't ask why. But all of the kids seemed to believe him. So yeah!
"Hey, Ells!" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around and saw none other then Wendy Kay!
"Wendy! Hey, it's you! It's been a while! How are you doing?" I asked, as she sat down right next to me. Wow, she hasn't changed one bit!
"Oh, everything's been just peachy! I found this really cute guy today! Sadly, though, he's on Team Explosion. They call him Red!" She said, as my smile slowly faded off of my face.
"Umm... Wendy? I don't think-"
"Oh! He's so amazing! I wish that I could be his girlfriend! Oh! He winked at me in the hallway, so I think it might be a big possibility!" She said, her cheeks blazing. But, it didn't look like she cared one bit!
I really wanted to tell her that he could be dangerous, really dangerous. But, I couldn't. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't do it. I couldn't hurt her feelings... even if they weren't the true feelings of love.
So, we all finished our dinner early, but Wendy wouldn't shut up about her and Red! It's amazing how much she can talk in one sitting!
Woah! I just realized how much I had eaten! But it was oh so tasty! I need my strength for the Trials, anyways! So this was perfect!
Anyways, the bell rang and I all went to my last class. With Mr. Coal. With Mrs. Kuro.
I walked in, and shut the door behind me.
"Hey, long time no see." Mr. Coal said, straightening some books on the bookshelf.
"Hello, Mr. Coal! Just out of curiosity, where is Mrs. Kuro?" I asked him, as I went and helped him get the rest of the books straight.
"She'll be coming. But first, I've got a task for you."
"Sure, anything." I said, finishing my work on the bookshelf. I looked at him, ready to do whatever he asked me to do. I was ready to deliver.
"It's the first step to mastering anything close to Lunar Magic." He said, straightening the last of his books.
"And... that is?" I asked him, a little anticipated for this.
"It's really simple, once you get the hang of it."
"Alrighty! I'm ready! No more waits!" I said, showing him my anticipation.
"Create a Lunar Sphere."
"Wait... what?" I said, as my anticipation disappeared in an instant.
