Ells' POV
"Wait... Chaos Companion?" Astrid asked, giving our new friend a look of pure disgust.
"Do not worry. I am not who you think I am. I was created by Mr. Ender to ensure that Ms. Ellusia gets to him safely and in one piece." He said, a little smile on his face.
I didn't want to sound crazy, but... something about him rang a bell. I don't know who he is, nor do I really trust him. But, I feel as if we have a deeper connection to eachother. Somehow...
"Excuse me, but why do you keep calling me Ellusia? My name is not Ellusia! It's Ells! It's really staring to bother me..." I said, a little aggravated at the situation at hand.
"My apologies, Ms. Ells. I didn't mean to stress you out in anyways possible. Please forgive my mishap." He said, bowing at me. I don't get the bowing, but I'm not going to oblige.
                              "Just Ells, please."
"Alright, Ells. Man, I've got to get used to that new name. Sounds so much more different then Ms. Ellusia..." He said, going through his thoughts, but I still had more to say to him.
"Second of all, you might not know this, but my father is dead." I said, all of those awful stories in the back of my head coming back to haunt my memories.
The people who knew my father said that he was a really good man. But, one day, he and my mother got into a car accident. My mother survived, but my father wasn't so lucky. The mechanical gears of the car came out, stabbing him in the heart.
"Oh, but Ms. El–Ells. He's not dead. He sent me to get you."
"My dad was always good at machinery. He use to make stuff deep in our basement. He took me there once. Maybe he sent you long ago. When he was alive. Because... he's not alive anymore..." I said, feeling a huge lump in my throat from avoiding to cry again. I've cried too much already...
Then, Astrid stepped into the conversation, saying something about how BCC-14 had talked enough about my past, and that we didn't need to bring it up anymore. Something around that, I think...
"Astrid, Violet, Dimitry, Hunter, and Ells. I am just the messenger, map, and a robot. I was assigned to take Ells to her father. Now, if you excuse me, I will take Ells to the assigned destination now." He said, looking towards me, lending me a hand. I didn't know if to take it or not to take it.
"If she has to go, then we are coming too." Violet said, putting her hand on my shoulder, with a little smile on her face.
"No, you were not assigned to come with me on this mission." He said, his happy look starting to sour a little.
I have a feeling that this won't end well...
