Chapter 69: Ellusia

No POV
As if they were talking without words, they ran up to the once adorable monster and attacked in sync. Voices screaming, and power blazing through their weapons, the monster disintegrated in a pile of dark ash.

The team of heroes celebrated their victory, as the world around them seemed to transform back into the original pathway. They turned back into their original form, smiling happily at each other. The ash from the beast blew away with the wind, slowly turning into nothingness.

The group began to continue their journey, the feeling finally sinking in on what they were about to face. They all seemed nervous to go face-to-face with Ells' father; Even Simon was afraid to go in front of his boss he had worked for years with.

But what they didn't know comment was that the mark from the witch had slowly started to spread across Ells' neck, getting closer and closer to the core.

"So, how did things go? You can't leave me waiting all day!"

"R-Right! Well, she did exactly what was planned of us. B-But... She was unsuccessful in destroying them completely."

"Damn it!" They slammed their fist on the table, anger roaring in their eyes.

"But! With my energy, I created a monster to go destroy them."

"You did what?! And without telling me?!"

"Yes."

All was silent, except for their screams echoing through the huge hallways of the underground building.

"It didn't work... did it?"

"I'm afraid not."

"Well, where are they now? Let's start there."

"They... um... Made it to the other world. You know, I love you. But, I think we should stop this plan of yours..."

"Stop?! This is what we have been preparing for our whole lives! Ever since birth!"

"No. It's what you have been preparing for your whole life. I did this when I married you. Because I loved you. And now, because of you, I can't turn back on my wrongdoings..."

"Well, as long as she is marked, soon we will be able to know exactly where she is. And, with enough of the Dark Chaos Magic in her, we'll be able to get to Havoc, and destroy him for good. All because of you, my darling."

"Yeah..."

Simon's POV
So, with the breeze blowing in her face, and the grass dancing to the rhythm of Spiral's song, we finally started to see the kingdom of Ellusia, the place where Ells had gotten her full name. The coordinates where everything began to change for us...

"Do you guys see that big grayish-blue tower?" I asked them.

"Umm... Oh! Yeah! I see it now!" Astrid said, pointing to the others were the tower was. I could already see Ells' eyes beginning to light up.

"That is the kingdom of Ellusia. That is where we need to go." I said, putting that big smile in Ells' eyes on her face.

I could see that this was going to be a good change for the whole group of magically-gifted teens... and for me...
