Ells' POV
My eyes slowly opened to the bright, blinding sun in my face.
"Well, you certainly slept for a while. Enjoyed your beauty sleep?" I heard a familiar voice say.
I get up from the ground, my hair a big ball of knots, dirt, and other things normal hair collects from the ground while your sleeping in the shivering cold to stay alive.
"Your hair is a mess, Ells. What on Earth did you do?" Violet asked me in her usual sarcastic voice, as she got a hairbrush and threw it to my face. Luckily, I caught it, before it broke my nose.
I go ahead and try to put my hair up into a braid, while Simon was talking to Violet about something. Probably plans, but I wasn't paying much attention. Geez. The boys weren't even up yet, and their already ready to go.
I'm not great with hair, so I just put the band on my wrist, and kept my hair loose.
So, after all of that hair mess was finished, I joined the group of business.
"Right on time, Ells. We were just discussing plans for the day." Simon said, smiling a little bit. I knew it! I'm so smart! I should get a trophy for that!
"Well, we all seem to be in a really good mood today! How close are we from, wherever we're going?" I asked, happily. Today felt like it was going to be a good day. I could feel it.
"Don't you remember? Like I said last night, we're about one third of the way there. If we don't stall, we just might be able to make it there before dark." He said.
So, we woke up the rest of the gang with a boom. Literally. Violet said that, since I had Lunar Magic, that I had the power of all four elements. And, she showed me how to make a trumpet noise with just my hands!
It was really hilarious to see Astrid's hair up on end! I felt pity for him, but I couldn't help but continue to laugh with Violet. Simon, though, did not. That party pooper...
~*Timeskip*~
So, as the day went on, we continued to travel. I didn't even know what time it was when we finally took a break, landing on the ground with a thud.
"Finally... my feet..." I grumbled, as I could feel my feet throbbing from all of the walking torture Simon made us go through.
"Agreed..." Astrid grumbled in return.
"It feels like we've been walking for hours."
"We have been, you idiot!" Violet yelled at Hunter, as she went to slap him, but Hunter rolled away from her just in time. Then, she payed back down on the ground, probably trying to enjoy herself for the little time she had.
For about 3 hours, we have been begging Simon to let us take a break. But, he would not. He anxiously wanted to get to the destination as quickly as possible. Now, I did too, because I wanted to see my father, but, this was just torture!
I wish he was human, so that he would feel the pain he put us through all day.
