It was a normal sunny day in Nevada, the boys were all in Spencer's place, agreeing to practice but then ended up ordering pizza and buying soda. Brendon, of course, was the first to share this idea and Ryan the first to contradict the statement but soon, after 4 or 5 minutes, a phone was in his hand and he was asking everyone the toppings for the pizza he could have sworn was out of his interest a few minutes ago.

Abandoned instruments were left in the garage, Spencer didn't mind having a messy garage. He liked messy. Jon, however, seemed to place his bass back into its original place which then, resulted into him getting teased with how organized he was. Brendon, once again, starting this whole teasing. He always started the shenanigans, the bad ideas, rebellious acts and other things that would easily send them all to detention. Or jail.

"Story time. One time, I was trying to save Jon and a few other people from danger and I literally cancelled my family meeting for it but once I got there, I see Jon and the others all sat down, safe and sound, eating food."

"Not our fault you were too slow."

Brendon smiled widely as he lets out a small laugh, he found everything funny, outstanding or just plain interesting. Ryan loved that about him. Jon grinned as Spencer playfully punched him, a small pout on his face as he remembered the day he tried being the hero, trying to save other people and Jon.

"Ryan? Brendon? Any stories that aren't boring?"

"Tired of hearing the story of your life, then?"

Brendon spoke confidently, joking of course. Ryan giggled as he held up his hand to high five the other, receiving it straight away. Jon rolled his eyes as he grabs another slice of pizza, Spencer refilling his cup with soda along with Jon's. Brendon and Ryan walked down memory lane, trying to get the best story they could ever share throughout their years of existence.

Ryan groaned loudly, regretting remembering last year's Christmas celebration. Where Ryan was invited to. Yeah, about that, everything went downhill the second Brendon had the access to a lighting up the christmas lights. Brendon's parents had to literally send Ryan a basket filled with snacks and a letter. An apology letter.

"I have one. This story is about last year's Christmas celebration. At Brendon's."

"Oh everything is about to go downhill."

Brendon looked confused for a second, just for a second. Until he remembered the mess he caused, and clean up. That was the boring part but it was worth it, for him atleast. And just for him, just to clarify. It didn't take long for the corner of Brendon's lips perk up and form a devilish grin.

Ryan glanced at him, giving a quick glare. A glare that basically told Brendon to fuck off, he hated what happened last year. Not that he hated celebrating Christmas with Brendon and his family, no, he loved it. (Especially his Christmas gift.) Ryan of course, just forgot that not everything can end perfectly.

"It was dinner. Mrs. Urie, Me and Brendon were setting up the Christmas lights, hanging them around and all those things. Everything was going well, Sinatra playing in the background and the fireplace warming us up. Until Brendon got a hold of the lights. Mrs. Urie gave him the chance to take control of light duty, and it all went to hell when the Christmas tree lit on fire."

"You're welcome."

"This is not funny. Nor was the accident last year."

"I beg to fucking differ."

Ryan rolled his eyes, his sweater still had a burned marking on the sleeve. A horrible reminder of what happened a year ago. Brendon had a whole burned rug as a reminder, his parents still give him the look whenever they remember the event. Now, they don't trust their son with any electrical devices ever.

Spencer almost choked on his soda, Jon dying of laughter and Brendon grinning like a crazed maniac. Ryan, the only person unamused. Brendon giggled before leaning closer to Ryan, planting a kiss on his cheek with a smile.

"I'm sorry. It's just me, y'know?"

"I know. I love you for it."

Ryan smiled widely before leaning in to kiss Brendon's lips. They loved kissing each other, and forever will it stay that way. At that moment, Ryan didn't really care if next Christmas celebration Brendon would burn the house down, it's something he would love about him even if it were to put everyone in danger, it's just..him.

Brendon Boyd Urie, the boy George Ryan Ross the III fell for. Hard.
