Carson's POV

"No..no.no..ayoko Duke." I was walking back and forth across the room.

"C'mon Car, it's still better than not having a job at all. He said and picked up Zac,

He's turning 4 pa lang by the way. It's just 5 months away that's why I need to save up for him.

Tho he's just 3 years old he is a very smart kid.

"You know what I've been through right? Nakakainis ka naman eh" I sat down exhausted.

He told Zac to play muna on his room and Duke sat next to me.

He gave me a back hug.

"It's just work, sweetie. Nothing personal." He told me and gave my shoulder a peck.

"Oh c'mon. Nothing personal huh? On my first day he made me make coffee for him--"

"Oh yun lang naman pala eh" Duke

"Like fcking 6 times?! Dahil hindi ko daw makuha kuha yung gusto niyang lasa and when he saw me taste his coffee using the spoon that I'm making it with sabi niya wag na lang daw dahil nawalan na siya ng gana..in a nandidiri and harsh way niya pa sinabi ha! Nakakainis." I crossed my arms when I remembered what happened on my first day.

I know LC siya but duh, paano ko malalaman if the coffee is in it's right mixture if hindi ko titikman right.

And another duh lang ha, naglampungan na kami dati. Saliva to saliva and he's acting all...uhm..like a virgin.

Kung hindi lang talaga..nako!

Duke chuckled

"Why are you laughing at me! Nakakainis naman!" Tumayo ako at naglakad ng padabog papunta sa kwarto ni Zac.

Sinundan naman niya ako ng natatawa pa.

"It's either you stay here at home or work at callbuzz. I gave you a choice" he said wiping his glasses.

Yup, he told me not to work anymore but ayoko namang maging pabigat kami ng anak ko sa kanya.

I sighed.

"Fine, titiisin ko yung pinsan mong spoiled." I said.

He smiled at me.

Alfie said malaki daw ang pinagbago ni Duke and I'm happy for that.

I, on the other hand, had learned to love him already.

Hindi naman siya mahirap mahalin.

Well, at first he was but now..It's all natural. Falling for him.

I hugged him all of the sudden. He also had to adjust for me because I was so broken too when I became his girlfriend.

even when I had Zac. Zac Axus Stanford. Well Zac is not his but he accepted him. He loved him like he is his real son.

I am thankful for that.

Napag usapan namin dati na siya na lang ang tumayo bilang ama ni Zac and so he adopted Zac. But then we realized na what if makilala ni Zac ang tunay niyang ama, so we decided na wag na lang ipilit. He also said na it's best for us na huwag na mag live in.
