Penny's POV

"Sino kayo?" nagkatinginan kami ni Zeke sa tanong ni Carson.

"What are you saying?" kunot noong tanong ni Zeke sa asawa.

Akmang uupo sana ito pero pinigilan siya ng pinsan ko dahil nakita niyang hirap na hirap ito.

"Please, mahiga ka muna. Magpahinga ka" Zeke said and carressed her cheek.

Kumunot na din ang noo ni Carson.

"Please, sabihin mo saakin kung sino kayo at bakit ako nandito. T-teka nga. N-nasaan nga ba ako? Pakshet. Ansakit ng ulo ko" she said and touched her head

Maya maya ay pumasok ang doctor.

"Doc, what the fuck is wrong with my wife?" mahinang tanong ni Zeke sa doctor at pinabalik balik ang tingin sa doctor at sa asawa niya.

He looks stressed right now and I understand him. He lost a baby and now mukhang may problema pa sa asawa niya. Lumapit na rin ako sakanila.

"Well, your wife is okay. It's actually a miracle na hindi siya na coma dahil in some cases kapag ka ganon ang aksidente ay isang linggo o mahigit ang pagkaka coma, I guess she's having amnesia" the doctor explained

Napanganga kami pareho ni Zeke. Woah, it's actually a real thing? Akala ko sa mga telenovela lang nangyayari 'yon

"Amnesia? Until when? Why doesn't she remember me?" Zeke said frustrated

"We can't really tell Mr. Hefflington. But please, bare with your wife. Wag mong pilitin and let her remember things naturally. It may cause her stress which may end up in coma" the doctor explained again

"Excuse me, ate. Pwede mo bang tawagin yung mama at papa ko?" pagkalabit ni Carson sa akin.

Napatingin ako kay Zeke at huminga siya ng malalim. He dialled Carson's parents and they came here as fast as they could.

Agad naman nagyakapan ang magkapamilya.

"How come she remembered them?" Zeke asked the doctor

"There are some cases na merong certain period lang na nabura sa memories ng pasyente. Maybe yung nabura lang sa memories niya yung recent happenings lang. Siguro her mental capabalities are trying to protect her from rememberin the traumatic things that had happened" I saw pain in my cousin's eyes when the doctor said that.

Zeke's POV

It's already 10pm at natutulog na ang mama at papa ni Carson. Dito na sila natulog. His papa slept in the sofa while her mom slept beside her. I was sitting at a chaur next to her bed.

I stared at Carson she looks so peaceful. She doesn't even know she had a miscarriage earlier. I sighed.

I haven't come home yet. Hindi ko pa nakikita ang mga anak ko. They don't know about the condition of their mom. I don't know what will happen to us. Duke is finally dead, Elaine lost her child with my cousin but she's safe now.

Gumalaw si Carson at minulat niya ang mga mata niya.

"Uh, Hi." I awkwardly said. Binitawan ko na din ang kamay niya na kanina ko pa hawak hawak. She might freak out dahil ngayon I am a total stranger to her.

She blushed and avoided my gaze.

"Do you need anything?" I asked. Umiling lang siya kaya tumango na lang ako.

Tumalikod na siya saakin at niyakap ang mama niya. Weird, she's acting like she's still in high school or something. Maybe hanggang dun lang yung memory capacity niya.
