Zac's POV

The party was fine.

I got introduced, they all were happy for me. I saw Carson smile at me.

The night was going pretty well..

I talked to some big clients and some important people..

I saw Carson's friends here too.

The night was good but then I saw Duke kissed Carson when he arrived late at the venue.

Fuck him.

Always ruining the mood.

Everybody were chatting with each other, others were dancing and I..on the other hand, grabbed a glass of tequila and went outside to cool off.

Pumunta ako sa tabi ng pool.

"Heyy, mr. Zeke!" Nabitawan ko ang tequila ko at nahulog ito sa pool.

I turned around and I saw this kid again, playing with a toy boat.

"Whoa kid! You scared me to death. Geez!" I said holding my chest.

He giggled at me. He was seated at the patio beside the pool.

I sat at a bench near him.

"Who are you with? Baka mahulog ka dito" I told him

"I'm with yaya but I left her inside" he said still playing with his boat.

"Uhm. Kumain ka na ba?" I asked him

Tumango lan naman siya

Hmm. Wait I haven't asked what's his name yet..

"Hey kid, by the way, what's yo--"

"Nako Sac, saan ka namang pumoponta. Uwi na daw tayo." I saw the kid's yaya called the little kid.

The kid pouted.

"Excuse me, but sino nga pala yung name ng mommy niya" I asked his yaya

"Si Maam Sushi po. Sige po ales na po kame ha" and they passed by me

Hmm Sushi?

Wala akong kilalang Sushi ang pangalan sa kumpanya namin eh. Baka bago o di kaya taga ibang department.

I shrugged and went in.

The night was a success.

I arrived a bit late cause I had a meeting with an investor outside the building.

I saw Carson..with her forehead creased.

She was staring at her screen. I snapped my fingers in front of her.

She flinched

"G-good morning sir" she said and went back to her work
