Nicki's POV

I'll never forget Amanda's reaction to our news.

"You're havin a baby child!" She exclaimed.

Ross, Rocky, and I laughed for at least 2 hours after that. Then, Ross insisted that I talk with him alone.

Oh no. This can't be good.

He pulled me into the backyard and sighed.

"So it's true? You're really having a baby?" He asked.

"Well duh, Ross. Why would I lie about being pregnant?"

"I don't know."

"Are you upset? Isn't this news you should be screaming in joy over? You're going to have a niece or nephew."

"Yeah, I know. I'm blessed and so excited about it. I'm excited for you and Rocky, but I just can't picture this."

"Picture what?"

"You, having my brothers baby. It's just crazy. Time has flown."

"Where are you going with this, because I'm really confused."

"I'm going to propose to Amanda. I wanted to know if you were okay with that."

"Oh my goodness! Of course I'm okay with it! Why do you need my permission?"

"Rocky never asked me my permission, and I wanted to at least have yours."

"Oh."

We sat in silence for a few minutes. Eventually I just hugged and congratulated him, leading him back into the house.

Amanda and I walked upstairs to the room devoted to the baby, while the boys stayed downstairs.

"What do you want it to be?" She asked.

"Well, I'd like a little girl to play with and for Rocky to fall in love with, but I'd also like a boy that I can take to baseball games and play football with in the yard. To be honest, I don't care, I just want a healthy baby."

"That's understandable. I see you having a girl first though."

"What if I have twins and it's a boy and a girl?"

"Then I'm praying for you."

I laughed.

"Thanks for your prayers."

"No problem."

We sat in silence for a few minutes.

"I really want to marry Ross, but he hasn't even hinted at it." She confessed.

It took every fiber in my being not to tell her.

"I understand, but Ross loves you, so I'm sure that it's coming!"

"I know. I'm just ready for him to do something."

"I understand completely. Maddie was the same way. I was scared for Riker for a while."

She laughed and made her way back downstairs, with me following.

We met up with the boys to go get icecream, along with Riker and Maddie.

Well, we were calling it going to got icecream. But we weren't going to get icecream.
