Nicki's POV
My two best friends are getting married.
Holy crap.
I grabbed Ellington from the hall.
"What?!?" He yelled as I pulled him inside my small dressing room and shut the door.
"Help me with my dress."
"Don't you have a husband to do that for you?"
"Ellington. I need YOU to do it. I'm nervous."
"About what?" He asked as he started fumbling with my zipper.
"Falling."
"Falling?"
"Well, Riley is getting bigger and I'm unbalanced. Plus, I don't feel good."
His eyes widened an he looked up at me, meeting my eyes in the mirror.
"No. Not yet." I sighed as I read his mind.
"Are you sure?" He asked as he finally got the zipper to its ending point.
"I promise."
I turned and hugged him.
"Please don't go."
"Ellington. You better be glad I put on waterproof mascara. Let's not do this now."
"Nicki, I just want you to know that I'm so sorry that I didn't spend the time with you when I had the chance. I know we aren't really that close, but I've always seen you as a sister."
"You've always been my brother. We were close for the first year of my marriage with Rocky!"
"But then..."
"Don't dwell on this, Ell. You still have time. I'm fighting."
"I don't know if I'll be able to get free time with you without Riker and Rocky there."
"I'll get them away."
"I want to be there for Riley."
"I want you to be there for her too. Promise me that you will."
"I wouldn't miss it for the world."
We hugged once more, but were interrupted by a frantic Ross. Ellington slipped out of my dressing room slowly to leave us alone.
"Help me, Nicki." Ross started.
"What's wrong?"
"What if I trip?"
"You'll be fine!" I giggled.
"I know I didn't make a mistake, but... I don't know."
"It's fine Ross! You love her, she loves you, it's going to be okay."
"I know... I know."
"Calm down."
"Okay."
I took his hand and dragged him to his spot.
"The wedding starts in two minutes. This is your spot. Stay."
The music started and before I knew it, Rydel was hooked on to Ellington's arm, walking down the aisle as a bridesmaid and groomsmen. Next, Maddie and Riker. Then, Rocky and I. Best man and Maid of Honor.
We walked slowly and made it to our spots, then turned our attention to Amanda. She was dazzling.
Ross' POV
Oh thanks for being so freakin gorgeous I think I just peed myself in front of all these people.
Amanda was breath taking. I couldn't believe that I was lucky enough to be standing here, about to marry the girl of my dreams.
I tuned the preacher out. All I did was stare at her. The only things I heard were what I was supposed to repeat, and "You may kiss the Bride."
Boy did I kiss the bride. I remember Rocky and Nicki pulling us apart. In that moment I forgot about all the trouble I was facing. I was finally married. And I knew for sure that I loved her.
That night, we spent our first night together as husband and wife.
