When I woke up, I smelt bacon and eggs. I turned onto my back and stared at the ceiling before remembering what had happened last night. Did it happen? Or was it just a dream? I honestly hope it is real.
I snuck down the stairs and found Mira in the kitchen. She was eating a peice of raw bacon while stirring the eggs. She saw me. "Morning, Sunshine. Well, it's actually twelve thirty so it is technicallt the afternoon. Whatever. You okay after what happened last night?" She finished cooking and got out two plates.
"It wasn't a dream?" I asked.
"Nope. Alll real. I'm 100% werewolf." She flicked her butt like she was showing off a tail. There wasn't one there though. I laughed."It looks better when my pretty little tail is there. Can I tell you something?"
I laughed." After last night," I paused."I think you can trust me with ANYTHING." I ate the deliciouse eggs and bacon along with a cold glass of orange juice.
"When Blake and I are both in our wolf form on full moons, I like seducing him until the morning. Then, he begs for me the rest of the day. It is really fun. Too bad you aren't a werewolf. You'd look hot." She smiled and ate her raw bacon.
"I wish I were a supernatural being. I'd do anything."I said. "The thought of being part of a whole other world just amazes me." I sighed.
"Yeah." Mira and I ate in silence for a little longer."Want to head down to the beach?" I can help you perfect you backflip in the water. We need to do something since I won't be able to be with you tonight. I'll have to help calm Jake down. All of the other wolves will be there. Me, Zach, Jake, Blake, Ben-the other boy who was with us last night-, Devon-"
My eggs went all over the table and even on Mira.
"Devon is a werewolf too?!" My eyes widened.
"Sadly. He is in the other group. The group I am in are the ones who stick to the rules. Their kind like breaking all of them. Mess with the humans, attract attention by doing inhuman things, bad stuff. No matter how hot he is... I'll always want to claw that handsom smile right off of his face."Mira wiped herself off and I cleaned the table.
"Oh my gosh. I can't believe this." I sat down."Who else I know is a supernatural being?"
"Seraphina can start fires with her mind, pyrokinesis, Jakes dad is a werewolf too, Mr. Hollowson is a skeleton, Clarise from the Diner is a witch-" She started numbering off with her fingers.
"Are you serious? That's crazy. Clarise is a witch? Wow." I thought of all of the times Clarise had walked in and out of the kitchen for a second and then brought out a smoothie or something. Mr.Hollowson a skeleton? Ha ha. I get it. Skeletons are have hollow heads and his name is Mr. Hollowson.
"So, I think those are some of the people you know. I'm pretty sure there are a couple vampires in town too. I hate them though." Mira shivered and finished her raw bacon.
* * *
"Thanks for everything, Mira. See you later." I waved goodbye to her and she drove off. I walked up the steps to Jakes house and opened the door. "Mr.Walsh? You here?"All of the lights were off."Guess not."I muttered and turned on a nearby light.
Light flooded the room and I found Mr.Wlash asleep on the couch. A remote was in his hand and a blanket was draped over him. I took the remote and tried to wake him up. I don't want to spend the night while a grown man is changing into a werewolf.
"Mr.Walsh?" I whispered.
"Gmgmgmmm." He said into his pillow.
"What?" I laughed.
