The Immortal Stone

Chap. 7 *SPECIAL*

Miras' P.O.V.

I flicked my tail several times as I walked by Blake. His gaze followed me and he slowly stood up. Instead of waiting for him, I headed over to Zach. Zach knew about my little games so he played along. He nudged me and I did the same to him. I rubbed myself against him as Blake glared at Zach. When I saw that he was about to lunge at Zach, I went over to him and rubbed myself against him.

Blinded by love, Blake forgot about Zach instantly and his gaze was trained solely on me again. I wish I could do this more often. I flicked my tail in his face and he sneezed. I laughed to myself.

Then, I got tired and lay down. I wish Amber were here. Now that she and I were friends, I couldn't help worrying about her. She is only a human who knows so much. I hope she is not in trouble. I looked up for Jake, but he was no where to be found. Of course. He probably wanted to go see Amber. Now that he can tame himself.

Jakes' P.O.V.

I looked around the clearing at all of the wolves. Some real wolves and some werewolves. They all got together perfectly. Or, should I say, 'we all got together perfectly'? Whatever. No one here understands what I am thinking. I need to find Amber. She'll know.

I ran through the woods and down the street in the shadows of the dark. If someone saw a wolf my size, who knows what would happen. I stopped at Ambers house and saw that nobody was home yet. She must still be walking back. Hopefully she's okay...

I walked behing the bushes on the side of the sidewalk and waited to see Amber. I heard voices:

"Heading somewhere, Kiddo?"

Devon.

"Just trying to get home. I don't exactly know how I would handle a pack of wolves." It was Amber. Another round of howls sounded.

"I could help you. Maybe walk you home if you wanted"

"I don't know..."

Say no, Amber.

"Okay."

"You cold?"

"A little bit."

Stupid cold.

"Here,"There was a pause."That better?"

"Devon, what are-"Ambers voice was cut off mid sentance and when I looked over the top of the bushes, I saw Devon kissing her.

 No.

He bit her lip and she began bleeding. But then he pulled her under again. He began kissing down her neck and she looked like she was going unconsious. I growled at the thought of them touching, let alone making out. I saw her pull away at the noise I made and then she tried to push Devon away. As soon as she stepped away from him he changed into his wolf form.

I backed into the shadows and watched Devon pass by me. When I was sure Amber had left I leaped out of the shadows and attacked Devon.

Devons' P.O.V.

As Amber and I walked down the sidewalk, I couldn't help but notice the way she walked, the way the moon enhanced her appearance, or the way she tried to keep her distance from me. Finally, since I couldn't wait any longer, I grabbed her arm and pulled her close to me.

She tried to protest but I kissed her and she shut up. I felt her give up and I wrapped my arms around her. I felt myself begin to change and my animal instinct came out. I bit her lips and she actually began bleeding. I felt bad but I couldn't stop kissing her. My lips found her neck and I began kissing. Her body went limp in my arms and then I began to let more of my animal out. My sharp teeth came in and I found myself starting to bite her neck the tiniest bit. Then she pulled away and I full out changed.

She gasped and I slipped into the bushes after glancing at her one last time. I walked past a tree and then I was being lunged at.

Narrators P.O.V.

As soon as Jake lunged at Devon, he bared his teeth and bit into Devons shoulder. Devon was suprised by the attack and fell to the ground. But, he stood up and bared his teeth at Jake to show that he wasn't backing down. Jake didn't care though. He just swiped his paw at Devon across the face. Devon dodged it and growled. He jumped onto Jake and snapped at his neck. Thankfully, Jake was quick and used his hind legs to kick the wolf off of him. Jake heard a familiar howl and growled one last time at Devon. Then, he ran back to the clearing.
