Minutes after, the flight attendant instructed us to open up the window. Di ko inexpect na the first date is going to be out of town.
Yesterday, after graduation, we just stayed home and snuggled up. We both didn't bothered to go out. His arms is the best and safest place in the world.
"Scotland! We're in freaking Scotland!" Nakita ko yung Hogwarts Express' railroad. And I got pretty excited. Tho I'm not sure what we're seeing here.
"Are we going to---"
"Yes we are."
Hindi nga niya alam itatanong ko eh! "And why aren't we landing yet?" He looked confused with what I said.
"Ah. No." He looked out of the window. "We're not going to ride The Jacobite Express." Umasa ako. I'm not really a fan of Harry Potter pero parang wow na lang din to ride that train.
Siguro mga thirty minutes pa bago kami nag-land. Six PM na din nang nakarating kami sa Skye. It's a small town on Northern Scotland.
"Trotternish Ridge." He looked like he really is familiar with the place. "I'm here for a job, actually."
"WHAT?! Akala ko first date?! Then you have a job? You're fucking unbelievable! Umasa ako!"
"Calm down, love. Let's just eat dinner." He was smiling coyly all through out the course. Baliw na ata 'to.
Akala ko SyncUK's staff is here for his 'job', beastmode ako kanina, pagsulat lang pala ng kanta ang job na tinutukoy niya.
"I'm planning on doing a duet. Would you sing it with me?" I have mentioned to him before that I used to write poems, and I sing. Some of the poems I write are really meant to be songs, kaso I don't play any instruments. So yung mga tono na naiisip ko, they're just all in my head, and I forget them easily. Problem yeah?
"Why me?"
"Don't you want to?"
"Not that I don't want it b---"
"Then let's do it." He pulled out his notebook and pen and went out to the restaurant's pantry.
It is pretty dark outside. May lights pero super dimmed ang mga iyon. "Do you have any ideas?"
"We're not even five minutes sitting around here and you expect me to have an inspiration?"
"Don't be so nosy, Beatrice."
"Period." His mouth formed an o and just nodded his head. I handed him my phone. "I left my notebook at home, but the first drafts of the things I write are here in my phone. Just go over the notes."
He did not look over it right away but instead looked into the darkness and started writing. It was quite a few minutes before he unlocked my phone.
It started to get even darker and nagulat ako na halos mage-eleven na pala ng gabi.

Everything is so good.'" Binasa niya ang sinulat ko on the said date. I remember, that was the day he came to visit me to the university to bring me some snacks to eat for the upcoming exams. "Who is this about?"
"Not sure. Can't remember anyone I know with bluer eyes than you." I blushed under the lights of the Auroras that are starting to appear. Now I know the whole point of this trip. I thought I'd just be spending time looking over the darkness of the ridge.
I have dreaded to see the Auroras ever since I was a kid. It's like a magic for me. Kaya noong nabasa ko yung article na Auroras will be lost or will fade in ten years time, I got completely heartbroken. But even if it will soon fade away, I'm still happy and will forever cherish this moment. The best first date.
"These colorful lights above,

He smiled as I have said those words. I'm melting.

His eyes were twinkling with the Auroras hovering above. Iba yung feeling. Sobrang iba. It is so surreal, I can't describe it.
