Asylum stepped into the the diner, with his companion, Sari, following closely behind him, holding her hammer tightly in her hands.
The young pirate was finishing up a quest, and just had to meet up with some guy talk to him, hoping to gain the reward.
As he looked around the room looking around for the man, his orc companion separated from his view as she walked around, disappearing into the small group of people scattered around.
Looking at his map, he checked to make sure that he was in the right place, but it wasn't too long until he heard an old man, wearing expensive robes and shimmering jewelry, calling him over to the corner of the room, smirking excitingly.
He rushed over to the guy, wanting to just collect his reward and leave immediately so he could get on with the next mission.
"Ah, Weaver! Thank goodness your here, did you take care of those little pests on my property?"
Asylum nodded, "Yeah, all taken care of!"
It was a fairly simple mission, clearing rats out of the underground tunnels.
"Excellent, well, I suppose I should pay you now..."
The man began pulling out his bag, grabbing golden coins, counting out loud.
"Three, four, ah, Five hundred! There you are young man."
Asylum took the gold in his hand, and shoved it into his pockets. As he was about to walk away, the old man grabbed his shoulder.
"Before you go, I have another deal I wanna make..."
Sighing in annoyance, Asylum turned to the man. "What's the reward?"
"Another five hundred in gold. I have another pest problem on my other lot of land that needs taking care of."
"What is it? Tolls?"
"Orcs."
Asylum's expression went blank, staring coldly at the elderly man.
"Orcs..?"
"Precisely! Disgusting creatures of nature. Sure, they can wonder around wherever they so please, but I want those vile animals out of my property and off of my land!"
Before Asylum could protest against the offer, a sudden sound of shattering glass cause everyone in he room to go silent and look towards the notice.
A man at the bar was shouting, waving his fists in the air, and growling at Asylum's companion as she tried picking up the broken glass from the floor.
"That's what you get for trying to purchase a drink from my bar, you filthy orc!"
The man at the bar picked up a glass bottle, ready to swing it at Sari, who was putting her arms up, trying to reason with the man.
The sight angered Asylum furiously.
"Ugh, what a disgusting beast! I'll end this..." The elderly man pulled out a large hunting knife from the pocket in his robes. But before he could do anything, Asylum snapped, grabbing his sword and pulling it out, pointing it at he man.
"Don't you dare."
The man froze, watching as Asylum pulled the sword away, and rushed over to the man that was about to swing the bottle.
Before he could though, Asylum tackled the man into the wall, pressing the blade of the sword against the mans neck.
"Don't you ever touch my Sari again. Ever!"
Sari blushed slightly, staring at Asylum as he defended her.
The man nodded his head nervously, "I-I'm sorry, please let me live!"
Asylum snarled, but let the man loose, watching him leave the building.
He immediately turned his attention towards Sari, holding onto her arms. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?! Oh no, You're bleeding..!"
Sari didn't even realize the small cut on her forehead, but winced as she touched it with her fingers.
"Eh, it's nothing, thank you Asylum."
Asylum smiled.
"This is an outrage!" The elderly man proclaimed. "Just look at what you and your disgusting orc did to my diner!"
Asylum growled, grabbing the cold coins from his pocket. He didn't hesitate as he threw the coins at the man, causing them to fall and scatter along the floor.
"You can keep your dirty money. Sari is more important anyway."
Asylum than grabbed Sari's hand, walking out of the building, and stepping outside, where Bubbles was waiting for them.
"Let's get you home so we can fix that cut of yours." Asylum said as he walked.
"What about the rest of the missions?"
"They can wait."
Sari sighed, smiling as she walked behind the boy she had grown so attached to within these past couple of months. She snuck up behind him, holding onto his shoulders as he placed a gentle kiss on the top of his head.
"Thank you my brave warrior~"
Asylum blushed brightly, turning around slowly, and facing the orc, seeing her smile adorably.
He didn't understand how anyone could find her disgusting. To him, she was simply beautiful.
He leaned in closer, standing on his toes so he could become face to face with her. He lifted his head, pressing a quick kiss upon her forehead.
