Au...
Asylum walked down the busy halls, calmly making his way to his first class. It was too early in the morning for him to function completely.
His senses were awoken when he felt a gentle tap on the top on his head, followed by a cute giggle.
Stopping to turn around, he met with those beautiful green and gold eyes.
"Morning Asylum!" His best friend Sari greeted with a smile, looking down at him cheerfully.
Sari was tall for her age, and Asylum was short. Their height difference had a large gap.
"Hey Sari..." Asylum yawned, walking beside her as they walked down the hall together.
"What's wrong?" Sari asked, "Didn't get enough sleep?"
"Hmm..." He answered tiredly, just wanting to go back to sleep.
The two walked into the classroom, taking their seats. They choose to sit beside each other.
Asylum rested his head on his arms on the desk, not caring to lift his head when he heard his teacher walk in.
"Morning class!" Mr. Vent said as he sat down at his desk, "I see Weaver is up and ready for today's lesson."
Asylum groaned in response, making Sari and the class laugh. His ears perked up at the sound of Sari's adorable laugh, but continued to keep his head down, hiding his blush.
As class began, Asylum zoned out, too tried to care about what the lesson was about. He just kept his head down, dosing off.
He suddenly felt fingers gently running through his hair. He was wasn't awake enough to look up, and the feeling of his hair being played with felt soothing.
Sari was too distracted by how cute he looked to pay attention to the class anyway.
"Sari instead of doing your boyfriends hair, could you kindly wake him up?"
The teachers comment made Asylum jump awake, his face bright red as the class laughed.
"Sorry vent," Sari smirked, ruffling Asylum, making him even more flustered.
"Perhaps you should go to the nurse Asylum, since you obviously don't seem to be fit for class."
Asylum quietly sighed, "Yeah... Okay."
Writing out a nurses pass, Asylum tiredly shuffled to the front of the class, calmly taking the slip of paper from the teacher.
"Oh and bring Sari with you, I wanna make sure you don't leave the school."
Sari chuckled, sliding out of her seat, "Ill make sure he's put where he belongs~"
Vent rolled his eyes, watching the two as they left the classroom.
The two calmly strolled the empty hallway, the halls now silent due to all the students beings in their classes.
Asylum wobbled as he took each step, eventually having to lean on Sari to keep his balance.
"Did you get any sleep at all Asylum?" Sari asked, worry clearly in his voice.
"Um... Not really..." He sheepishly admitted, not looking up at her as she glanced down at him carefully. "I haven't been sleeping well lately..."
"Clearly," she sharply sighed, taking a stop as she focused all of her attention on the boy next to her, concern shimmering in her eyes. She took a gentle hold on his arm, causing him to look up at her. "Asylum, what's been bothering you?"
The sudden attention on him caused him to grow red, completely mesmerized by her.
"Asylum?" Nervously whispering, she inched closer to him, "Are you okay..? Is it because I embarrassed you in class? I'm sorry, I know you don't like when I mess up your hair and-"
"N-No, no!" Asylum stammered out, interrupting, "I... I like when you do... A-And when you tap my head in the morning, I like it, and I like you-" He stoped, closing his mouth.
Sari blushed, "Y-You what?"
"I-I mean- Ugh!" Asylum groaned, frustrated at himself. Why did he stay that?!
Before he could correct himself, he was suddenly pushed back against the wall, with Sari hovered over him, with their faces inches apart.
With admiration in her eyes, he pulled his face up, slowly planting her lips against his.
He tensed up, but quickly melted into the kiss, completely lost in the moment.
