It was a cold morning when Asylum stepped out of bed. Looking out his window, he discovered why.

A fresh layer of snow covered the Earth outside, and snow slowly fell from the sky, making him jump in excitement.

Rushing down the stairs, he smiled when he saw everyone handled around the fireplace in he living room, holding warm mugs and laughing together.

Sari was the first to notice him, "Morning Asylum!"

"Morning," He said, walking over to the group, "What did you guys make?"

"Sari made coffee, there's still some left if you want some."

He nodded his head, walking over to the kitchen, poring himself a warm cup.

Walking back into the living room, he decided where he should sit, before finding the space beside his friend Sari empty as she sat by herself away from the fire.

Sari was shaken a bit when Asylum suddenly sat beside her. She did feel strangely more warm and safe with him close to her.

Everyone sat around the fire, talking and sharing stories as they enjoyed each other's company for once. They were so distracted that they didn't notice the snow fall grow.

Asylum shivered, being the one to look out there window, and see a growing blizzard.

"It's really snowing outside, I think we should stay safe and stay inside until it dies down..."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"We are running out of fire wood though..." Mimi pointed out, biting her lip for a moment. "Do you want us to use the TARDIS to go get some supplies?"

Asylum shrugged, "I guess, thanks Mimi..."

"I'll go to!" Lena said as she followed Mimi into the basement, where the TARDIS was currently parked.

With the twins gone, and Jerry asleep beside the door, Sari and Asylum were the only two left.

Asylum shivered, wrapping his arms against his chest as he moved closer to the fire, a hit of nervousness sparked within him as he noticed the fire was barely lit now.

"It's probably not gonna last much longer..."

"I'll get more blankets." Sari announced before walking out of the room.

Asylum waited a moment, sinking into his thoughts, until a huge blanket suddenly covered him. Moving the sheets, he narrowed his eyes as the orc giggled over him.

"Very funny..."

She sat down, smirking slightly, "You're welcome..."

He sighed, smiling for a moment, before pulling Sari into the pile of blankets.

He managed to wrap a blanket around her, using it to his advantage, using it to pull her closer to him, their body heat warming each other up suddenly.

The orc blushed, looking down at the pirate in awe. He smiled at her, chuckling softly.

"There, now we can both stay warm!"

Her heart raced in her chest, and she leaned closer, "Your lips still look a bit cold~"

"Wha-"

He was interrupted when his face was suddenly grabbed, facing Sari's, her half lidded eyes glowing faintly as she looked down at him.

Their lips met for a very short moment, a small spark still managed to warm them up completely.

Asylum didn't even realize that he had leaned into her arms until they had separated, shivering slightly.

She smirked, "Still cold?"

He nodded, melting into the embrace.

"Asylum! We-" Mimi stopped once she walked inside the living room.

The two were sound asleep beside the fire, blankets wrapped around them as they slept on each other's shoulders.

"Should we wake them up?"

"Nah, they look okay."
