Laura's P.O.V
The doctor said if I pass all my tests i can go home today. Of course I'd have to stay in the house for a while but it would be something. Ross and I are back together! He was with me right now actually. He's barely left since I woke up. "I want to leave!" I whined. "I know beautiful, but you gotta stay here until it's safe for you to leave," Ross said, stroking my hand with his thumb. I sighed but stopped whining. I hadn't told Ross that I might be allowed to leave later on today. I want it to be a surprise for him.

Ross's P.O.V
I was on the couch beside Laura's bed. She was fast asleep and had been for the last hour. The doctor walked in and said, "Sorry, I didn't know Laura was asleep."
"It's ok," I told her.
"Well," she carried on, "I just came in to let you know that Laura can get ready for going home in an hour." Was she kidding? Why didn't Laura tell me that she could go home? "Thank you," I said as the doctor walked out of the room. I called Rydel to ask her to bring Laura some clothes. "Hi Delly!" I called. "Hey Ross, what's up" she replied.
"Could you bring me a pair of Laura's leggings and one of my old hoodies?"
"Why?"
"Cause the doctor just told me that Laura could leave in an hour!"
"Yay! That's great! I'll ring them right over!"
"Thanks Delly, bye!"
"Bye Ross!"
I gently shook Laura awake. "Hi baby!" She smiled sleepily up at me. "Hey! The doctor said to get you ready for coming home!"
"Yay! When?" She asked.
"Well, she told me about half an hour ago, but I rang Delly and asked her to bring you some clothes. She just gave them to me and left again, seemed in some sort of hurry. I'm sure she would've stayed if you were awake though," I told her.
"Ok," She said, "Can you help me to the bathroom and I'll put them on?"
"Of course," I said, helping her out of her hospital bed. I helped her across to her bathroom and handed her clothes to her. She took them and smiled at me, walking into the bathroom. A little while later she comes out wearing her clothes. "You don't understand how much better this feels!" She said laughing. I chuckled and took her hand. I had packed up all of our stuff while I was waiting dope Delly to arrive with Laura's clothes. I picked up the bags and walked out of the room with Laura. On our way to the reception desk Laura said, "Why am I wearing one of your old hockey hoodies?"
"Because it's cute," i chuckled, "and remember the doctor said you had to keep loose clothes on your arms so it doesn't catch on your stitches." She nodded and laughed, saying, "And btw everything looks cute on me!" I chuckled and wrapped my arm around her shoulder.
"Guys, we're home!" Shouted as I unlocked the front door. Everyone ran down the stairs to great Laura. I smiled as everyone fussed around her for a while, then I had to step I and said, "Laur, your doctor said to rest for at least two days." She smiled at me and said, "I know."
"Why are you smiling at me like that?" I asked.
"Well," She started, "The doctor did say not to walk up the stairs on my own."
"So I'll walk up with you," I said. She shook her head and Rydel laughed, obviously knowing where she was going with this, while I didn't have a clue.
"And..." I prompted.
"You have to carry me," she said lifting her arms towards me. I chuckled and picked her up bridal style running up the stairs with her.
