Ross's P.O.V
We got to leave the studio early today so I jumped in my car and drove home. I stopped in Starbucks on the way home to get Laura an iced coffee. I decided to take the stairs up to our apartment instead of the elevator because I was feeling more awake than I usually do. I put the key in the door to unlock it but the key wouldn't turn which meant the bolt was on. That's weird, Laura only bolts the door at night or if we're going away for a few days or whatever. I take my other key and twist it in the keyhole to unlock the bolt and then use my normal key to unlock the door normally. I walked into the apartment to notice that Laura wasn't there. "Laura?" I called. No reply. "Hey babe you home?" I called again but there was no reply. I walked into Laur and I's room to get changed but saw Laura curled up on our bed asleep. I went to pick her up to put her under the covers but as I turned her over I could see the tear stains on her face and how red her face and eyes were. "Laurie?" I said, lifting her to try and wake her. She opened her eyes slowly and I sat her up on the bed. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing," She said looking away from me. "Baby, you can tell me anything, you know that," I told her, rubbing my hand on her thigh. She jumped up off the bed and started crying again. "Baby I'm sorry what's wrong?" I said, jumping up and pulling her into a hug.
Laura's P.O.V
I don't know what to do! Do I tell him? Do I not? I don't know! I know I tell him everything but this could make him so mad! Not at me obviously but at the Charles guy and I don't want anything bad to happen to Ross because of me. "Laura," He said, pulling away and looking down at me. "Do you promise you won't get mad?" I asked, sitting down on our bed. "Laura I'd never get mad at you-" He said. "Not at me," I said, cutting him off. "Well I can't promise that I won't get mad at someone else," He told me, "but I'll try." I took a deep breath on and let it out again before telling him what happened. "An agent from CMA called me the other day to ask me to come down to the offices to look about getting an agent because they'd seen my in Andy's magazines and stuff for the store, but I declined," I said. He nodded his head and gestured for me to continue. "And then today..." I continued, sitting down, "He showed up here..."
"How did he even get out address?" Ross questioned. I shrugged and looked down at my lap. I felt Ross put his fingers under my chin and slowly lifted up my head. "What did he do?" Ross asked. "He asked if I was sure on my decision and I said yes and he... he sat beside me on the couch a-and he slide his h-hand up my thigh and asked me if t-there was anything he could do to change my mind..." I said, a few tears slipping out of my eyes. I looked up at Ross to see him standing with his hands over his face. He took a deep breath and said, "I'm so sorry baby." I stood up and took his hands off his face. "There's nothing to be sorry about," I told him, "It's not your fault." He sat down beside me and said, "I know but I'm sorry I wasn't here to protect you." I wrapped my arms around him and said, "But you're here now." He hugged me back and kissed the top of my head. "Are you mad?" I asked. "Truth?" He asked, I nodded my head. "Very," he said, "I want to drive over there right now and give him a piece of my mind, or rather, a piece of my fist!"
"Please don't," I sighed. "But you can't just let him get away with that Laurie!" He exclaimed. I sighed and looked away from him. "Hey, look at me," he said softly. I turned my head to look at him again. "Baby I won't let someone get away with touching you like that!" He exclaimed. I tilted my head back and took a deep breath and let it go again. I looked back at Ross and said, "Just please be careful." He kissed me quickly and stood up saying, "I will."
