Laura's P.O.V I'm so nervous. Ross told me yesterday that his childhood best friend is throwing a party tonight for New Year's Eve. I was excited for the party, don't get me wrong, but what if he doesn't like me? We all know the whole "Annie thing" went downhill very quickly. "A penny for your thoughts m'lady?" Ross asked sitting down beside me. I stopped biting my nails and looked up at Ross. His smiled faded as he said, "what's wrong?" "Nothing," I said as Belle jumped on to the couch and sat down in between us. "Come on Laura," he said, taking my hand in his, "I know when you're lying." I sighed and said, "I'm just worried that you're friend won't like me..." Ross laughed and said, "of course he'll like you Laura, anyone that didn't would be completely out of their minds!" I smiled weakly at him and set my head on his shoulder. "Anything else you're worried about?" Ross asked. I shook my head and cuddled further into him. "You cold?" He chuckled, wrapping his arm around me as he pulled me in. Belle changed her position and climbed onto my lap as Ross turned on the TV.
Laura's P.O.V "What are you wearing tonight?" Rydel asked as we walked upstairs. "I think I have something in mind...mind checking it out?" I asked, opening the door to Ross and I's room. "Go try it on," Rydel encouraged, pushing me into the wardrobe. I walked out wearing the dress I had bought shopping with Sab the other day. "PERFECT!" Rydel squealed. I giggled as I twirled around. "What are you wearing?" I asked her. "Sparkly shorts with a black blazer," She said. "Sounds very 'Rydel'!" I laughed. "Speaking of," she said checking the time on her phone, "We only have about and hour and a half."

Ross's P.O.V Laura and I were getting ready to go to Logan's party. Everyone else had already made plans for tonight so it was just me, Laura, Rydel and Ell. "Are you sure I'm not overdressed?" Laura asked me standing up. I turned around and looked at her, "You could look overdressed in a pair of sweatpants!" She smiled weakly, "You didn't answer my question." I smiled and took her hands in mine, "You look perfect." I ducked my head down and sunk my lips into hers. She smiled into the kiss and then slowly pulled away. "Thank you," she whispered.
