{At the support group}
Rocky's P.O.V
I walked into the room that several other people were already sitting in. I stood behind a seat in a small circle of only about nine or ten chairs. Most people that were here already looked about my age or a bit younger. I looked around the circle, taking a deep breath in, trying to calm my nerves. "You can sit here if you like?" I heard a small voice say. I looked down to see a girl who looked around my age looking back up at me. I smiled weakly at her and said, "thanks," as I sat down on the chair next to her.
{after the support group}
Most of the session today was about getting to know your mental illness and how we shouldn't be ashamed of them. Most of it was listening and our leader told us that next week we'll be talking a little bit about ourselves so we should have something to say about us for next week.
"I'm Rocky," I told the girl, shaking her hand once we were free to leave the session. She smiled at me and said, "I'm Gabriella, but all my friends call me Gabby." We got up from our seats and started to walk towards the door. When we got outside we sat down on a bench waiting for our rides. "Did your parents get you to come her too?" she asked me. "No, my parents don't know I'm here actually," I admitted, "Actually they don't know I have depression..." She looked at me in shock and said, "They don't know?" I shook my head and said, "It was actually my little brother's girlfriend that brought me here. I've known her for about four or five years now so she's like my little sister." She smiled and said, "It's so sweet that she cares so much about you." I smiled and nodded my head. "That's my mom," She said, standing up as a small white car pulled into the carpark, "I'll see you around Rocky." I smiled at her as I waved and said, "Bye Gabby."
{About five minutes later}
Laura pulled up into the car park and I got in to her car. "How'd that go?" She asked. "It was okay," I replied. "Make any friends?" She asked. "Yeah, I met a girl around my age called Gabby," I smiled. Laura didn't say anything for a while and so I looked over to see her smirking to herself. "What?" I asked laughing. "Nothing," She laughed, "Is she nice?"
"Yeah, she's really nice, and funny," I said. "You should invite her over some time," She suggested. "Yeah, I'll maybe wait a while. She seemed really comfortable talking to me today, but in the end, I don't know her past and I don't know why she was there today so I wouldn't want to do anything to upset you," I said. "Yeah, yeah, of course," Laur replied, "Wait until you're ready too, I don't want to push you into anything you're not ready for."
"Thanks, Laur," I smiled. "No problem," she replied.
{Later back at Ross and Laura's place}
Laura's P.O.V
"How did Rocky's thing go today?" Ross asked. "Good," I smiled, "He said he met a girl called Gabby." Ross raised his eyebrows and I giggled. "Maybe this will be good for him," Ross sighed. "I hope so," I replied. Ross leaned over and kissed me. I sunk into the kiss and he smiled. I pulled back and lay my head down on his chest.
Ross's P.O.V
"Laur, baby, wake up," I whispered. She opened her eye and looked up at me, "What time is it?"
"three AM I think we fell asleep," I said. "Oh," She yawned. "Come one, let's go to bed," I said picking her up carrying to our room. I pulled the covers of our bed back and lay her down on the bed. I climbed into bed beside her and pulled the covers over us, soon falling asleep.
