Ross's P.O.V
"So the plan...run over it one more time?" Ruler asked me. I sighed and said, "I'm going to call Laur's teacher, ask him if she can resist her exams and postpone the other ones. Then I'll fly out tomorrow morning and come back the next day with mom and Laura and they'll stay for the rest of the tour." Riker nodded his head agreeing with the plan. "Sounds good," he said.
"Hello, mr Jacks, this is Ross Lynch," I say into the phone. Me Jacks was me and Laura's home room teacher. "Hello Ross, how are you?" He asked. "I'm...I could be better," I said honestly, "but I didn't call you to talk to you about me. I wanted to ask you how Laura's been doing in school." I heard him sigh and he said, "Do you want false hope or the truth?"
"She already gave me false hope and then the truth, so why donn't you do that too," I sighed. "Well..." He started, "She comes into school every...most days, but she zones out in class and teachers have been to me several times today asking me if Laura was ok." I sighed and asked, "Is there any way Laura can resit her exams she has already taken and postpone the ones she hasn't?" I could almost hear him smile into the phone as he said, "I know she can resit at least one and the limit of how may exams she can postpone is five, but she only has four left so that should be fine as well." I smiled and said, "can I speak to you tomorrow during my free period to tomorrow, it's the one after break?" I asked. "Ross, you're in New York at the minute..." he said. "How do you know where I am?" I asked laughing. "It's all Laura talks about in home room," he laughed. "Well, I need to talk to you about her but I think it would be easier to explain it face to face," I said, laughing dying down at the end. "Ok Ross, I'll see you tomorrow," he said. "Ok, see you then mr. Jacks...and don't tell Laura that I'm coming over, I want it to be a surprise," I told him. He laughed and said, "don't worry, I won't." I hung up and ran to lounge area of the bus and said, "I've booked the flights for tonight and tomorrow night and planned a meeting with mr. Jacks. Everything's reading to go!" He nodded and said, "Good. When do you need to leave?" I shot him a guilty smile and said, "my flight is at six forty five tomorrow morning. So I have to leave the tour bus at four tomorrow morning. He rolled his eyes and said, "and I guess I'm driving?" I nodded and he walked off.
