I've been trying to revise for my science exam today but I have had 5 episodes of hair pulling. At first all I was doing, was writing about hydrochloric acid experiments and then BOOM my hand was in my hair searching for a hair to pull out. I couldn't help it. I kept studying, one hand pulling hair, the other writing down notes. Eventually it got tiresome and I focused on pulling my hair out. Once I had broken out of it, I then taped the tips of my fingers and continued to study. This repeated itself 4 times, 4 GOD DAMN TIMES. It wasn't until I found tweezers on my desk that all study time when down the drain. I started to pluck the hairs on my legs and squeeze the spots (ingrown hairs) on them. In total I wasted about 2-3 hours.
The one thing I hate the most is this...
*before exam*
Friend: "I did so much studying, what about you?"
Me: *Montage of me pulling out hair plays in my head* "Oh yeah, yeah I did but I suppose I could have done a bit more studying"
*after exam*
Friend: "I did really well in my exam, how about you?"
Me: *looks at score* "well.." *cries internally* "not so well"
Friend: "Well maybe you just don't have a good study technique, like I had to really work hard for this one, you just need a bit more effort"
Me: *sarcastic smile*
A/N: I wish I had enough balls to tell my friends about me struggling to study because of my trich, or anyone for that matter.
