When I get an urge, it's an overwhelming sensation; like an itch. Like all itches, I really badly need to itch it, but in my case I pull. I need to find the right hair in the area where i'm getting the sensational, tingling feeling. I can be scavenging for ages trying to find the hair that will satisfy the sensation.
However, in some cases there isn't any hair there. When I get an urge where my bald spots are, it drives me nuts because I can't pull my hair out. At times like those, I do just scratch at where it tingles. Although when I scratch at my bald spots, my head usually bleeds and i'm left with cuts.
