My New Year's resolutions will be the same as any other year: Stop pulling. But I never have managed to succeed. Last year I made great efforts to stop pulling like going to the school counsellor (who to be honest wasn't a great deal of help and I had to stop going to her because my dad said, and I quote, 'I don't want the school getting involved with your problem' - ~shiver~ that day when I took my dad into school so he could chat about my trich with the school counsellor was a HUGE mistake). It also just so happens that 2017 was one of the most stressful, painful and the most emotionally difficult year of my life (senior exams were mainly what made it hell). This year I have yet another set of exams so I can basically repeat last year, but instead this year will be more difficult :) huzzah. However, i'm hoping that because i've already done it once the second time around will mean that I am better prepared - hopefully. Anywho, I have scrambled together a list of things to help me stop pulling:
- exercise/ eat well
- don't isolate myself in my room (try be in the presence of other people so they can stop my pulling)
- rewards for when I don't pull
- become more knowledgable about stress, anxiety etc
A/N: Is there anything I should add to my list?
