My skin has been affected by my trich because I literally hack for hairs sometimes. My arms, legs, scalp etc. are all covered with sores. I usually wear jumpers, jeans and hats to cover up how horrific my skin looks. (All my friends question why I wear jumpers and jeans and things on warm days) However, at school I can't cover my skin because we have to wear a school dress and I'm not allowed to wear a hat. I feel so insecure about it and I like to hide in the background. My parents told my previous school about my trich but I was still denied permission to wear anything that was not uniform. My parents didn't even bother telling my current school about my trich.
I would like to consult the school councillor about the problems I have but I don't know how to go to the councillors without anyone getting suspicious about my absence and in the end my friends will find out why I'm going to the councillors office. I know that I am such a coward for not getting help and not telling people about my problems, I just find it so difficult to speak about my trich aloud.
