Fuqboi

I was tired. It was a Moody Monday morning. The spirit was dead as every kid slumped as they walked sleepily through the school doors ready to get the day over with. I, on the other hand, was listening to Carson go on and on about the new cheer uniforms. Something about them not showing off enough of her assets.

"I mean coach Allan knew how I felt about the fabric of it anyways. I mean as cheer captain I should be able to have a say in what cheer uniform we should pick. My mom is also the principal and she pays for them." Carson, captain of the cheer squad and my best friend, rambled on with her usual valley girl accent.

"You mean the school pays for them." Jamie, another blonde cheerleader, adds.

As usual, she was twirling her smooth bleached hair around her finger and loudly chomping her gum making my head want to burst.

"Shut up, Jamie. It isn't any of your damn business. No one asked you to open your annoying mouth."

Silence.

It wasn't your typical Silence. It was loud silence. The silence that made your skin tingle from the wonder of what would be said next. It was almost chilling watching the two divas silently face off. But, in the end, I did not give a shit about what was going on. The whole scene before me looked like it came straight out of Mean Girls.

"Is this Deja idiots over yet? We have to be in class in seven minutes and I'm over it anyways." I ask with a bored tone.

"Whatever." Carson says through clench teeth. I could tell she looked annoyed with my interruption but, they were both being ridiculous. The attention they were beginning to cause us was also a big annoyance to me. I was more of under the radar girl.

As we begin walking into the hell hole that awaited us, people begin following us. They went wherever Carson went. It was almost too stupid, that it felt like I was in a parallel universe as I watch them all drool like puppies.

"Let's head to the bathroom. I need to reapply." Carson says already heading towards the girls bathroom. Carson was it. She made girls want to be her and boys want to touch her in the most sexual way possible. Disturbing but, true. Even Alex Perez, schools genius, who cherished his intelligence more than his mother begged Carson to let him hold her books. It was sad to see someone like him stoop so low.

"The party was so amazing last night, El. Derek and I went to third base finally. That's all we did but, he will definitely be scoring big time prom night." Carson was going on and on as she applies her shiny pink lip gloss in the dirty cracked mirror.

This is your guide too 'Bathroom talk with girls.' Derek and Carson were on and off again every week. It was almost too annoying to care for me but, everyone else acted like they were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. It was irritating. Made my skin crawl with irritation. Carson pretended like she didn't know everyone didn't think of her as some virginal princess. Everyone saw her as queen of the hookers. Everyone knew that Derek was gonna get lucky on prom night. Hell, even Carson's mailman knew who had asked Carson inappropriately if the deed was done. He got a lawsuit from her dad after that.

Okay, maybe that was just another rumor either way it proved my point.

"How lovely." I mutter.

The sarcasm dripping from my words made my mouth practically water for shit talking Derek to a new universe and spilling what he did to me at the party. I wanted nothing more than to tell Carson what I had walked in on and the amazing blackmailing skills her boyfriend had but, instead I grabbed my lip gloss from pale pink Prada bag and applied.

"Why do you hate Derek so much?" She says annoyed once again as she applied some mascara to her long lashes.

I shrug. "He is a dick."
