"Aigoo, my son is back!" says Mrs. Park when she entered the kitchen with grocery bags.
"Hello mother," Jimin says politely as he hugs her.
"Eomma, let me help you with that," I said taking the bags from her.
"Oh I see you met Y/N. I was going to tell you sooner but I thought it would be better to explain it when you got back," said Mrs. Park.
"It's okay. Jihyunie already told me," he said smiling.
"I'm going to make your favorite foods. What would you like?" asked Mrs. Park.
"Mmm how about some stew? Kimchi Jjigae?" he asked in a cute way.
"Araso. Aigoo my son is getting so big," she said.
"Eomma, can I help you cook too?" I asked playfully while hugging her from behind.
"Ani, you should go and talk with Jimin," she said.
"But I want to learn how to make kimchi jjigae. Pleeease?" I pouted innocently.
"Okay it would be nice to have some help," she said smiling at me.
"Yay! Thank you," I said excitedly.
The boys were in the living room hanging out and catching up while we cooked in the kitchen. Mrs. Park was explaining what I should do and the kitchen smelled so great! She also cooked some side dishes and I helped cook the meat.
"All done!" I said.
We started plating and bringing the food onto the dinner table carefully. Everyone came and we started to eat the delicious food. Mr and Mrs Park sat across from each other. Jimin sat next to Mr. Park and Jihyun was next to Mrs. Park. I sat on the end of the table in between Jimin and Jihyun.
"Woah this is really the best! My mom is the best!" said Jimin with big eyes and a thumbs up.
I giggled at his expression and took a mouthful of rice.
"Y/N noona! What did I say about eating like that? Despite how you look, you eat like a pig," said Jihyun.
"Food is meant to be eaten. Why do I have to eat like a pretty lady? That's injustice!" I said before taking a sip of the stew.
"A girl should have an appetite," said Mr. Park laughing.
"See," I said teasingly.
"Y/N-ah, look here," said Jimin.
I turned around and looked at him cluelessly. "Yes?"
He picked off the rice that was on my cheeks and put it on a napkin.
"You had some rice. Unless you were trying to save it for later," he said smirking.
"Ahh..thanks," I said turning away. Don't blush Y/N, don't blush! Someone take the attention away from me now, I thought.
"So Jimin, how long are you staying this time?" asked Jihyun.
"For a week, longer than the three days I had last time," he said. "Oh eomma! I saw a little boy last night by our house, did we get new neighbors while I was gone?"
"I don't think so. I would know if we did," she replied.
"Strange, he was tiny with black hair and he had a red shirt on," Jimin stated.
As soon as he said so, my heard started to hurt. There was a throbbing on the sides of my temples.
"Um if you'll excuse me, I'll go grab us some more water," I said quietly.
