After Jimin left, I walked around in the dorm, trying to hold in all the good times. A few hours passed and I walked outside to get some fresh air. I walked to a nearby park with a lake and stood there, looking at myself in the reflection of the water.

"Are you ready?" came a voice behind me.

"What are you?" I asked.

"I'm not human but I'm not a ghost either," he replied.

"Why did you grant me my wish?" I asked.

"Sometimes people need a little more happiness in their life. You helped me so I helped you back," he said.

"I see."

"Well are you happy now?" he asked me innocently.

"Yes I am. I've been really happy with all the kind people I've met. I was happy enough to have been loved and to know love," I replied with a smile.

"I made up my mind. I want to remember it all. My life before. My family. My friends. It might be selfish but I want to go home," I said.

"Even if home isn't here?" he asked.

"Shouldn't it be here in South Korea?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"You're naive. Home is far away. You're from the States," he replied.

"Far away...the States...but there must be people who are worried about me, I can't put myself before them," I said.

"Is there anything else you would like to know before you go back?" he asked.

"I don't think so. I'm ready," I said.

"Alright then," he said.

After a flash of light, I remembered it all. My family, my friends, my life. At that moment a gust of wind blew towards me, hindering me from keeping my eyes open. When it disappeared I was able to look at my reflection in the lake again. Back to the real me. An average face. Not too pretty but not too bad either. I'm back to normal. No more being the most beautiful girl. Jimin won't recognize me anymore. It's okay. He might remember me but he will learn to forget. All I know is that I will remember. I loved him. Not because he was a famous idol but I learned to love the real him. I looked at the promise ring on my finger that he had placed on me and sighed.

"Mianhae Jimin-ah," I whispered softly with a hint of tears.

"You remember so now you have to go back home," he said in a sad tone.

"It's okay, thank you for everything you have given me," I said before hugging him.

"Before I bring you back to America, is there anything you would like to say or do?" asked the little boy kindly.

"Yes." And with that I was gone. The next thing I knew I woke up in the hospital with my family laying on the couch, looking after me.
