Worth Remembering //Park Jimin

Inside the airport, I dragged my suitcase and walked to a bench. Luckily I made it with time to spare. I looked at my phone and saw that Jimin had tried to call me multiple times. I didn't even say goodbye to him. I know it's wrong of me but I just couldn't do it. If I had to look him in the eyes again, I'd break down. I was ready to close my phone but it started to ring.

"Hello?"

"It's Yoongi. Did you talk to Jimin yet?" he asked.

"No I didn't," I said.

"Well you should. I don't know much about what happens between you youngsters but I do know that Jimin wouldn't just leave the set until we're all done filming. He deserves a chance to say bye too," he said.

"Jimin left?" I asked.

"Most likely he came to meet you. If he doesn't make it, call him," Yoongi said.

"Okay I will."

"Good. Catch you later," he said as he hung up.

Maybe I should call him but at the same time it still hurts.

Announcement: Good afternoon passengers. This is the pre-boarding announcement for flight DL 158 to Minneapolis. We are now inviting those passengers with small children, and any passengers requiring special assistance, to begin boarding at this time. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. Regular boarding will begin in approximately ten minutes time. Thank you.

I'll wait. If he doesn't make it by the time the last announcement is made then I'll go without a farewell. I'll let it up to fate this time.

I sat there figeting my hands. I secretly prayed for him to make it in time. The clock ticked faster than I wanted it to.

Announcement: This is the final boarding call for all passengers booked on flight DL 158 to Minneapolis. Please proceed to gate 3 immediately. The final checks are being completed and the captain will order for the doors of the aircraft to close in approximately five minutes time. I repeat. This is the final boarding call for all passengers. Thank you.

"Park Jimin hurry," I whispered.

Two minutes passed by and I couldn't stay any longer.

"Mianhae Jimin-ah," I said quietly while looking at the entrance.

I guess we weren't meant to be, I thought.

And with that, I left back to America.

Jimin's P.O.V.

I paid the taxi driver and ran inside as fast as I could. I frantically looked around for the flight she was supposed to take.

"Excuse me, did flight DL 158 board already?" I asked the flight attendant.

"Yes they just flew off not too long ago," she replied.

"Shit," I said, under my breath.

"Thank you," I said to her and walked back.

Aish Y/N, not even a goodbye?

She won't be able to get my calls or texts at this point. I looked at my phone as someone called.

"Hyung, did you see Y/N?" asked Jungkook.

"No I didn't."

"Bwah? And she didn't even call?" he asked.

"No I guess not."

"Ah hyung it's okay," he said.

"Yes it will be. Jungkookie, tell the boys to continue promotions without me for now. I'll be back in a few days," I said.

"You don't mean?" he asked.

"Yes I do. I'm going to America."

The Next Day (Jimin's P.O.V)

Breaking news! Park Jimin from the boy group Bangtan Boys is going to America in search of his mystery girl!

The news and rumors started circulating in one day's time.

"Jimin Jimin! Do you have any comments about this girl?"

"Is it all true?"

"Will you confirm this?"

People gathered around me as I made my way from the car to the airport. Questions were being thrown from every angle.

"Jimin a statement please?"

"Everyone is curious."

"Can you-"

I paused and turned to a reporter who was holding out her mic.

"Listen, this is for you Y/N. You have always come to me and now I'll come to you. No matter what happens, I'll always run to you. We made a promise and I intend to keep it. To all my ARMYs, I'm sorry for my impulsive decisions and if it negatively impacts you all. I kindly ask for your understanding. Thank you," I said looking straight into the camera.

After bowing I made my way to the airplane. Y/N, I'm coming so accept my love.
